Most of you will have heard of and seen Mizrachi play poker but his new business venture is called Blast Longer.I will give you his own words to describe this........."Blast Longer offers players the ability to place last-longer side bets (blasts) with their friends or the larger Blast Longer community," "The player in each blast who lasts longest in the tournament wins the pot. Each tournament will have multiple pots at different bet levels: 10 percent, 25 percent, and 50 percent of the buy-in for online tournaments, and one percent, three percent, five percent, and 10 percent of the buy-in for live tournaments." Mizrachi also describes it as an insurance for poker players but this sort of betting doesn't really appeal to me as I think it can easily be manipulated.Maybe it will be a success though I seem to recall there being a "bubble boy insurance" scheme in the past. I can't put in a link to the article as all are on other poker sites but easy to find.

For what i read, in the market i think that already exist something like this, bet and buy percentage of tournament buy.ins or make a pot with friends and the highest players with more points or more winnings or more deep in the tournament win that pot, or that percentage that all put in. Is something like this, and its not very diferent for what already lots of players do. Or i am wrong?

Like the participation in a poker tournament isnt enough, especially in high buy ins, now they have added betting to it. They will do it pure gamble at the end, where they will try to outlast the ones participating in and not trying to hit final table for big prizes from the tournament itself
