i would prefer beating 10K runners in the wsop main event for a few dollars more than ~$6 you won here, but yeah it's still an amazing achievement congrats and i hope that this is not the last time we hear about mighty TheIrish77 who literally rapes everyone at the tables and in between the tables...
Posted by TheIrish77: It really wasn't that hard outside the time it took. 5.5 hours is pretty rough to sit through but persevered at the end to take it home.
Yeah, that is the thing - once you've got a hold on the playerpool (which of course do not consists a thousand Phil Iveys) it's only your patience could hold you back. But this freeroll - such as BRM's - is played mostly to the get the points for that month, the actual payout does not matter at all. Congrats.

Is a realy good achivement, and congratulations for that, like bowie1984 said, is made to get points for the month not to win bit things there, but win one time in one month give you a good points for the month, just keep the rest of the month, and is a start to play some buy.ins in sit and go or mtt, like 0.02 or 0.10 or 0.11 or maybe give some shots one the 0.25 or 0.27 to start and win some other cash and build bankroll.

Congratulations on a great result,to win in a field of 10,000 players is excellent. It's a shame that the payout didn't justify all your hard work but it should definitely boost your confidence knowing that you are able to get good results.Good luck for next time.

What can anyone say here but congratulations. Finishing first with so many entrants is a bi achievement. Too bad that the payout out wasnt equally worth that. But the feeling of winning such a game, might have been a bit of a compensation for the payout
Wow these freerolls have amazingly low prizepools for a site the size of poker stars... The guy who finished second, playing almost 6 hours for 1,02$
That is the reason why I don't play freerolls on huge sites, it doesn't feel like it's worth investing time in it. And it feels like pokerstars is laughing at us. People can say all the crap they want about small and medium sites, but the low traffic isn't always a bad thing.

You just forgot to go and see that there is a leaderboard for these tournaments and the top prize winner for the month is $1,500.00 if you had 20VPP the previous month.
For sure freeroll is a lot of work annd time spend it become an individual choice. Before making judgment you yould have all the fact.

great win my friend we have some mobsters who were able to win this i don't play them due to the small prize but someone explained to me that the important thing is the leader-board so i hope you get many points this month so you can get a decent place so keep playing good good luck

And what are the odds of finishing first in the leader board like 1 to 50 000?
And how did I judge anyone? I was just saying my opinion as to why I don't play them myself, learn to read. If you felt insulted then maybe you're wondering yourself if these are worth playing. I was judging pokerstars lack of freerolls with interesting prizepools considering how much dough they make. Also offering rebuys for $ in 100k freerolls (and lots of ppl do buy them)... They end up not giving much away.
They are probably raking more than 1500$ every second and you say that like it's a lot of money for them. 1500$ might be big for you but to them it's really just peanuts (no pun intended, pinotte).

When you play for free you cant expect to make a fortune out of it in any site of poker even if they are makink a lot of money.
If you know any place where you can get money for nothing just tell me i will be glad to go. Like i said its an individual choice to play freeroll. You dont like them you dont play.
By the way you did dont makee money playing freeroll on duck you made it playing cash game and wit your skill you made the money.
