Fifty years old is the max. for this? I thought everything down the Bayou is more strict and less balanced - especially their justice system.
Of course he didn't get to kill anybody yet probably won't see the light of the Sun again as a free man in his life. A revenge for a drunken stupor which caused his initial ban really worth this much for him? What a stupid, stupid folk...

So he shot a woman cashier in the head and he was only charged with attempted second degree murder?Surely shooting someone in the head and then shooting at other people should not be second degree.At least the judge had the sense to give him the maximum.

Apparently they cannot tried him for murder since nobody died in this incident. Which is an incredibly lucky thing if you look around how these things happen to end in the US of A nowadays.
Still curious how come none of the security guys saw he had weapon tucked into his pants.
