Well, they still managed to save some of the laughable categories from the american counterpart - I mean awarding 'Industry Person of the Year' is got to be the toppest LOL I ever gave for a newsarticle about poker. Casino directors and tournament staff have to get their initial glory somewhere I guess. Even having Best Ambassador and Lifetime Achievement awards - I mean come on.

I suppose it to be nominated as Doubletop777 says you have to have a very good year, and it reassembles and success in live tournaments and securely online as well. So that we have something to fight for, and we'll maybe once nominated.

I think we can all agree that these awards are practical jokes by the industry for the industry. Being recognised has nothing to do with a plastic cup you get for showing up.

I cannot believe that I do not see any names of mobsters in this list of European poker players up for a n annual award. It's shicking that the quality of the players here at BRMmare not recognised for their skills and contribution to poker....and of course, saving the world!

There is a certain amount of 'skill' is required from you to be able to pay off the awarding comitee to 'find' you worthy. We just lacking that 'skill' LOL...
