So, Easter once more is on its way, And the MoBsters have a game to play, It's at the Rigged Place, as is the norm, We hope that all will be in good form.
It costs a dollar ten, for you to buy in, but look at the prizes you could win. Good old admin has donated fifty bucks, You can add more, come on me ducks.
But what type of poker will be in the frame? Could it be holdem, or even 8game, Or Omaha, Horse, or even Hose, This is a challenge that Pochui does pose.
So make your choice and plan for the day And clear out the problems that won't let you play. Turn up have a good time and enjoy the craic And try and win more than your buy in back!

sure i can do that and besides easter is on two dates anyways, so makes a perfect excuse for running two separate tourneys (1st on 4th of april and 2nd on 11th of april- two saturdays in a row). i think we should also split brm $50 in half and can even lowr the buy-in to $0.55 since some mobbits are a bit short on cash it seems...

Haha, the downvotes are just flyin' on this post. Some people need to make peace with the fact that this home game is not for them to make quick bucks rather it's there for the community to have some fun. Stop the downvotes people, stop with all this hate. Y'ALL ARE NO FUN PEOPLE.
Just tried to find out what 8-game is, and found this:
Our 8-Game Mix gives you the chance to play the following different poker games: T - Limit 2-7 Triple Draw H - Limit Hold’em O - Limit Omaha Eight or Better (Hi/Lo) R - Razz S - Limit Seven Card Stud E - Limit Stud Eight or Better (Hi/Lo) H - No Limit Hold’em A - Pot Limit Omaha
Now if I just figure out what Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, Limit Omaha Eight or Better (Hi/Lo), Razz, Limit Seven Card Stud and Limit Stud Eight or Better (Hi/Lo) are, and figure out how to play Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha, I'll be all set!
Maybe we should do a trial run first, so some of us can figure out if we want to play the real thing, or only play the NLHE one?
I might join, even without any hope of not sucking at it, but one might argue that has always been the case so far...

LOL 101% sure that someone was planning to make a living from brm nl holdem tourney, probably took out a new mortgage and now imagine his surprise and disgust when he saw that prize pool was slashed twice... (as our noble warrior flashfaust would say- in your face u motherfcukers)... desperate times call for desperate measures i guess... from the shadows is a safe option- at least no one is gonna offend them publicly, since no one knows who they are... boy they are such smart dudes, i would like to give them a but don't know who to give it to...

G'day mates
Just want to wish everyone a great game. I do not think I will be playing in this years Easter game. In truth I do not think I have even played since march 1st. I am most assuredly on an extended break. Trying to get my health and personal life in order.

Hello Pochui Just read on the top of the thread that the Easter home game is now taking place at two dates one nl holden and other a 8-game like yout85 has suggested
My question is why don´t you cut the buy-in in two and more people would enjoy both
I am one of those mobsters a bit short on cash after all I´m from Portugal the TROIKA just left

Fair enough- i go with you. 0.5.5 buyin is reasonable imo. Just waiting to hear if no one has anything against... Kinda scared to post now cause of those thumb downs... I have a really fragile soul...

Lol im sure ull be alright man.i do kinda understand y some might not like the idea of splitting brms donation into the two games. Probably because its a donation all mobbers are intitled to play for and there losing there shot at half of it not being able to play 8game. Also giving others the chance at both halfs if they can play both games. In the end i couldnt care less what we play. I dont no 8game eather but u better bet yo booty ima look good losing lol . Just do whatcha gotta do ya cant please everyone, in the end the pride of winning will be worth more then the cash imo. For me not getting knocked out first is the goal

Posted by arsenej1: Seems like tgis is gonna be a rather small game as its sitting. Interest aint quite as high as Christmas one. Easter always like this?.
well yeah xmas ones do generate more buzz- probably all that celebrations outside and snowmen with carrots sticking not in the place of nose do help to cheer people up a bit... i remember once we started with the homegames (xmas and easter)- we had up to 3 tables most of the time, and it's not about quantity, more like about quality i guess. these games are for active forum members, since those who never heard of forums have no idea the games are running. and when you look at how many active forum'ers we have- you can pretty much suspect that where will not be a major flood of interest. in the end if we have a good time- that's way more important than having a bigger bunch of random dudes imo.

yeah i get your point- though it's not like we are limiting anyone from playing both games, so they actually get two bullets for the price of one. since there are no major 8-game pro's amongst us- everyone has a chance to make a killing. besides we don't want to become standing water... xmas is reserved for nlhe, why not make a small change to easter one? besides 8-game features nl holdem too- so one can say that they are completely lost there... he he. p.s. the less people enter the 8-game the more +ev it will be (considering that top 10 places are gtd $2.50 payout...), so if one is in desperate need for millions heading his way- 8 game is the place to be

Posted by StheP: I dont know to play half of those games... Ill try to menage to freeroll that buy in for NLHE
you can have a go at 8-game in one of the 3 play money warm up tourneys at the rigged place.

I've never played razz and I'm terrible at PLO8 but I welcome the chance to play the 8 game. I just see it as an opportunity to play something different for a really small buy-in.
