lol it happens mate, maybe the players were playing tight or for real they did not have good cards to call, but you should be happy if you were in the late stage you would have received some pot with the ante and so on. Anyway good luck at the tables hope you have more fun and maybe get some people to call and out last them to the river, cheers me out and gonna rest a bit then some poker , cheers good luck again mate, peace out

i know how you feel especially in these games when even k-9 is considered the nuts and people will push with it in seconds still you should be happy with the blinds a-k even though it is a strong hand , it still needs to improve on the flop good luck in brm freerolls @superthight stupid comment

You are right, that it doesnt happen too often in freerolls, that is why I like an all-in with strong hands like AK or queens in these situations, because you very often get called by loose players with Ax or even weaker hands.
Thats why I raise normally to let them re-raise me or call and hit something post flop and play terrible poker from there
Obviously you're gonna have to fold sometimes when you don't hit though, but AK is a very easy hand to play unless flop is 10j or QJ maybe... (then you're gonna have to decide if you semi bluff or not)
Anyways, I understand why you shove in freerolls but is it really the least risky way to win chips? Not sure about that... When it works you may think you did a good play, but really all you did is wait for a hand and shove. Playing this way can become a bad habit because good players will never call you all in pre flop with AJ or AQ unless they are short stacked.
