A news report in a UK newspaper yesterday tells how a university treasurer stole over £300k to fund a gambling addiction at a UKbingo site-though it appears that the money was mainly lost playing slots. Went with all that money to a bingo site? She may have played slots but she could have gone to a casino and try her luck in other games too, like blackjack Some people are way desperate and have no self control at all.
ok I understand that you could win 5 figures sums on slots winning a jackpot or whatever... but how the hell can you lose it all without at least cashing out some remains mysterious to me... worst losing up to 6 millions damn she got a serious problem.

Slots are pure evil. The promise of a big win with only a small buy in, is tempting for a lot of players, just like a lottery is. But the gameplay on slots is much much faster, eating up a bankroll in no time.

6 million is a lot to lose even if over 8 years,I would love to know what kind of stakes she was playing on the slots,I know you can play £100 or £50 a spin on some games but to me that is just crazy.The minute she stole for the first time it was inevitable she would be caught eventually.
