Yeah, though about it, he was playing quite tight, so he may of folded, wanted to showdown more than the extra chippies in the end, and basically minimum + min extra raise was my (possibly poor) decision.

great hand congrats i had a couple royal flush in my poker career it is a great feeling if you bet and someone raise you on the river , and you have the nuts , push all-in next time anyway hope you made a great run in this tournament good luck

The showdown of such hand is half of the satisfation of having a royal flush .If I were in your shoes I would done the same go to showdown but in a cash game I would gone all-in

It is always nice to see a player get a royal flush and at least you had some value from the hand,nothing more annoying when you get a great hand and your opponent has nothing to fight you with. He probably would have called an all in but on the river he only called when you had just 4k left so he was aware in the possibility of the flush.

Congratulations to this very fine hand. Its not often one sees a royal flush in no limit holdem. In omaha games it happens regularly and one easily forgets about it, but I think you will remember that hand for quite some time.
