We are down to the last twenty three players but, to be honest with you, i do not recognise any of them. It would be nice for the satellite qualifier to go on and win the whole thing

Lots of lesser known players but a few who I have seen before like Ylitalo and Panka who has had a very good year and one player who is maybe not so well known outside the UK but an old school player called Carlo Citrone who has been around for ever and is one of the more colourful characters.

Dominik Panka has a lot to defend at this event, being one of the last big names sponsored around. He is way behind in the rank, he needs to work a bit if he wants to go to the final table.

It looks like Dominic Panka ran out of steam at the final hurdle and was knocked out in 3rd place but he was always chasing the pack and at one one point was among the short stacks so winning $347k is pretty good.

Well done to Carlo Citrone who managed to finish in 12th place for close to 50k.Even though this put his live tournament winnings to over a million this was one of his biggest wins.Good to see one of the old school players doing well against all the young kids for a change. Smile

Duda, Holz, Ensan, Zapatero, Montury, Messina, Aido, Ylitalo, Schillhabel, Zindel, Citrone, Kaj Smit, Panka, Kovtunov, Volkmann.
Sounds like a C-list James Bond Villain Gallery to me, how awesome would be if the producers get a hold of this list and make them IRL.
