NY Mets at Washington Nationals

The New York Mets opened up the season with a 3-1 win over the Washington Nationals. New York controlled for much of the game and they managed to take advantage of the admittedly few base runners that ended up on the paths. Mets could not follow it up yesterday with a win as Nats won 2-1.

Baltimore Orioles at Boston Red Sox

Baltimore is 6-2-1 against the O/U and it is set at 9 right now. We like the over to come in again as both offense have their way on these starters. Boston Red Sox pound the green monster in big win

We had another double up yesterday and lets try and keep the winning run going today. Today's double is, Boston Red Sox to beat the Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers to beat the New York Yankees, the double pays about 2/1

Tampa Bay Rays at NY Yankees

Rays bounce back from 4-1 loss last night as Tampa Bay pitching advantage is too much for Yankees to overcome. NY Yankees are RED HOT but their bats are quieted for once as Odorizzi is too much as he earns his 3rd win and improves on his 1.65 ERA. Tampa Bay Rays win

Mariners at Rangers

under 7.5

The Mariners are not a good road team yet, but that is good news for them because the Rangers are an even worse home team. So this game between the two teams could easily shape up to be a battle between who wants it more and which team is going to come out on top.

Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates

Total 7

The Cincinnati Reds have been struggling to find consistency all season long. The Reds seem to alternate strong wins with embarrassing losses and it makes no difference who they throw out onto the mound.

NY Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays

TB -1 Total 7

New York has won three of their last four games, taking a series over the Baltimore Orioles. New York is sitting at 20-12 this year. Next up on the schedule is a series against the second place Tampa Bay Rays.

Olivera receives visa, headed to LA
Cuban infielder expected to complete physical Friday before working out at Camelback Ranch
By Jesse Sanchez / MLB.com

Cuban infielder Hector Olivera will soon be in a Dodgers uniform.
Olivera, 30, who signed a six-year, $62.5 million deal in March, is expected in Los Angeles on Friday to finalize the contract by completing his physical, according to industry sources. Additionally, the timeline for Olivera's introductory news conference is being finalized, and he could be begin working out at Camelback Ranch, the club's Spring Training facility in Glendale, Ariz., sometime next week.
This much is certain: Olivera's deal includes a $28 million signing bonus and a clause that gives the team a seventh season at $1 million if he needs Tommy John surgery. An MRI on his elbow in March showed a slight tear in the UCL.
The Yankees, Braves, Marlins, Giants and Padres had expressed strong interest in signing Olivera, but he ultimately chose the Dodgers.

over 7

St. Louis and the New York Mets are two teams with quite a lot in common. Both squads find themselves at the top of their division thanks to crafty vet pitching and timely hitting. The Cardinals have a healthy lead in the NL Central while New York is barely hanging on in their own division.

By T.R. Sullivan / MLB.com

NEW YORK -- Shin-Soo Choo had his first four-RBI game of the season Saturday afternoon and only his second in the past four years.
He did it all in one inning with a run-scoring single and a three-run home run. Those were two of the big hits in a 10-run inning that helped carry the Rangers to a 15-4 victory over the Yankees.

After getting embarrassed by the Yankees last game, Kansas City will be looking to get some quick revenge. The New York Yankees need to collect big wins to move up in the AL East, so this game likely will be very competitive.
