...I was puffin' a cigarette out the back door when I heard the beep to play....
Usually I make it in plenty of time,...but took an extra puff,...then ran...
I got to my computer JUST in time to barely miss calling...

Thanks god it's only a freeroll and not for real cash my friend. I've done this personally quite a few times myself. I smoke a lot of bud and take breaks in between hands and come back to some monsters just folded.

When you see the result you can say that you cigarette puff costed you this hand. However i wonder with the cards you had would you have called the bets on the flop and the turn. The only think you had on the flop gutshot straight draw i woud not call on that would you.

Yeah you're probably correct pinotte on your assessment of the hand. It would have been a lot of his chips to call down the turn and river but It's also a freeroll so I wouldn't have been surprised if someone called me down with that hand. Not a smart play that's for sure.

Hello Demodawggy Well like Pinotte says maybe is real time action you would back down after some of the bets but you should also stay in the action after all it´s a freeroll so maybe a not so tight aproach to the game book
But that also proves another thing taht shoud be printed on cigarettes packs"SMOKING CAN HARM YOUR POKER"

Yeah!!! Same to me and i am smoke long cigarette 100s and always mis first few rounds after pause.Many times mis monsters or some good hands. Is be great to quit smoke.

Hi mate yeah those kind of hand make you sad especially if hit hits you and me it hits me often i always loses with coolers and all kind of set ups and i am now bored with poker, but hopefully you will not be on the receiving end of those hands, cheers mate good luck at the tables and hope you get more of those hands and keep us posted, me calling it a day , too tired and have not taken a bath and want to sleep so cheers mate have fun again!

Interesting. I wonder how you would have played this hand? Have you given it any thought as to honestly how you may have played it, had you not unluckily timed out cos of that one extra lung sh1t filling briefest of moments of life wasting activity ? Would you have got to the river to see that Tc come floating along! You could have (unusually for a royal flush) won quite a decent pot!
(Please don't be offended by the reference to the killer consequences of smoking....... You could just as easily die from crossing the road! , or from shock or stress induced by missing a royal flush!)

Already warnedya all more then once.
Most pokersoftwares take control of your PC's webcams, see when you leave your chair (to take a piss or smoke a cig) and usually deal you AA or KK or some some other monster hands just to let you discover it when you come back.
they take a short movie of your reaction and throw it on the web
