Recently on this forum we were told about the trial of 2 men accused of murdering and robbing pro gambler and poker player Mehmet Hassan. This was no straight forward robbery,the killers viciously attacked,tortured and filmed the crime before beating and kicking him to death and then laughed about the what they had done. A short while ago the verdicts came in and both men were found guilty of murder.Also convicted of manslaughter was the woman who "honey trapped" the victim. While the judge read out a victim impact statement from a family member of Mehmet Hassan one of the killers started to abuse the courtroom and then violently attacked his guards. In the UK anyone convicted of murder will receive a life sentence automatically,hopefully in this case there will be a recommended term of over 25 years. link http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-32320595

they got what they deserved spending the rest of their worthless lifes behind the bars not only stealing his money but killing him for no reason .. it is sad i feel like poker players are always a target for thieves but now murder also acting that way in court where he suppose to feel sorry for his actions may mehmet hassan rest in peace while these killers rot in a cell

Yeah they got what they deserved and should be punished for it and hopefully we will see a justice system going on or they will walk free, i dont like criminals and i always want to see them hang and put behind bars, anyway bad days for the good guys hope they get justice they should get life instead of 25 years , anyway good luck and keep us updated on some good news and not some bad news hopefully, cheers!

I just cant understand the thinking of this kind of peoples they had not enought of taking his money thay had to beat, tortured and also filming the horrible think tey were doing.IMO the jail time is not enought for this kind of parasites. Sometime this kind of crime are not welcome by other prisonners and i hope it will be the case for them.

Yeah, they are the kind of people you don't want to mess with. You never know what they are capable of until it's too late. Their extraordinary ability in deceiving people is just unmeasurable.

We will have to wait until the end of April for sentencing but in the UK there is a mandatory life sentence for murderers and the line the courts take now is to give a minimum term of imprisonment.The average term for a life sentence use to be around 12 years so now for more serious offenders they get between 20 and 30 years,minimum.
