Many many congratulations to Sam Mitten-Laurence on winning this event and the first prize of £182,000. Great to see that he qualified on a satellite and it gives hope to all players who play these things.

A great win for a satellite qualifier and from looking at the hendon database this appears to be the only cash he has ever had in a live tournament so a good way to make his debut. $266,000 should ensure a pretty decent holiday for him and his girlfriend.
Dunno what a 'PokerStars Qulifier' means but sure as hell I want be one when I'll grow up. Of course what would be a UK based tourey final table without a guy from Poland to represent all the ex-pats currently waiting for David Cameron to send them home for good.
