Pokerstars withdrawal charges   0
Ouch!

Deposit £47 ($68.57)

Then I withdrew $74.66 and only got £47.98 back.

For someone like me on such small margins of profit, that's rather painful!

Because I play on other 20 sites, hunting bonus' and freerolls. I deposited for the millionaire challenge and then the money comes out again ready for the next bonus

...I've never seen THAT sort of thing before, and I withdrew from PokerStars just about a week ago...!

It would be a real cheap shot to charge folks to withdraw cash from there,...but I think what's happening is you are getting charged to convert funds between currencies,... Normally a percentage + a small fee....!

If you are in Canada,...use Instadebit... Cheap and fast...! Smile Thumbs Up

You didn't read my thread about this? http://www.bankrollmob.com/forum.asp?mode=thread&id...

Just add GBP as a currency in pokerstars, and deposit into this GBP account.
Then convert this inside the cashier to USD.
Play with your dollars.
Then convert this inside the cashier back to GBP.
Withdraw GBP to your bank account.

All without any fees. The way you did it, you incurred the 2.5% currency conversion charge twice.

This works for EUR and CAD too.

you don't need a check , just call the bank and ask for the transit and branch numbers, you should already know your account number. Thumbs Up

What i did is i openned a new bank account just for poker and on pokerstars i am using Echeck for deposit and withdraw no fees and i do like marrqis said i deposit in canadian dolllars and then i ask them to transfer to U.S. funds again no fees just a good exchange rate better than my bank. And when i want cash i ask them to transfer the money in Canadian funds and the withdraw by Echeck. Smile Smile

just go to pokerstars and under deposit method click on instadebit and go ahead and make a deposit, it will come from your bank automatically, and when you withdraw it will go into your bank, usually both transactions take a few days, but you can use the deposit , as soon as you make it.

wow Ice queen....that is harsh and never really understand why a company such as pokerstars have to charge so much when as Marquis has outlined there is a way to avoid these charges.
I have just withdrawn from 2 sites and didn't get charged anything and these are not billion dollar companies either.
