I'm in the process of setting up a private tournament on PKR for you guys to come and play I have added $100 to the prize pool I originally asked the to make it a freeroll but they do not provide private tournies with free entry, they have passed it on for special consideration, but I have responded saying if not I would be happy for it to have a $6 buy in. If this is the case I think it would be better as fewer of you would actually play it and it will really good value tournament for everyone that does.
The tournament will be on Friday 15th May at 8pm GMT

Very nice gesture but with a 6$ buyin i dont think many will attend?. Gonna download the app and see if i can play private tourneys if so im in. Goodluck at the tables

Any one with a pkr account can play in private tournaments, but you have to be silver level or higher to arrange one. There is a chance that it could still be a freeroll, but to be honest I'd rather not give $100 to have the tournament fill up with randomers chasing passwords. And the buyin would ensure that a good game of poker is being played. And also the less people who play it the better it is for those that do.
------------ Also I have a few friend on pkr who will be invited to play, and will have no probs buying in.

Hi guys hope you have fun and make money on those tournaments it is fun to play with mobsters and making money along the way is just a bonus , this is how i think of private tournaments and all, anyway good luck again hope there is a good attendance and you guys can mke some good memories out there , cheers me going out and resting a bit, i have work and need to sleep as i pull an all nighter yesterday , cheers mate have fun!

Since PKR charges 10% rake up to NL10, it is very expensive to play there, unless you play higher levels. And if you do, you should go for a rakeback deal rather than a no deposit/deposit offer I think. But it might be okay when you are still clearing your signup bonus.

TAKINGDRUGS..... First of all, what a lovely gesture on your behalf. I for one will play, as long as I am home from work on time.
Secondly, I think the $6 buy in is reasonable and agree with your approach to prevent all comers joining in for nothing. Will the $6 each person pays increase the prize fund?

Hi mate.
Like some one above said, i also not have any account on the PKR room to play that kind of tournament. But if you have the change to make or maybe start a schedule with a tournament with money GTD and a low buy.in to get some players to play and have fun for a hour, and the room give you a suport one that, go further, will see some members of here and others that will know about that.

I don't agree with you there damosk,i think $6 is way too high an entry fee. If it's supposed to be for mobsters then i think that there will not be too many playing because of the buy-in, i mean it's hard enough to get a good field in the xmas or easter home games when it's only $1.10 so how many are going to fork out $6 ?. It's a nice gesture by takingdrugs but imo there will not be too many mobsters in it which will be a shame. gl to those who are though.

Just binked a $12 rebuy for $440
------------ Just to add if it is not a freeroll il happily pay afew genuine mobsters into the game, although could be difficult to send the funds.
------------ And yes damosk all buyins will be added to the prize pool.
------------ Would more mobsters actually play the tournament if the buy I'm was say $1.50, the reason I ask is because it would stil require a min deposit.
