truthfully i saw someone else do it and wanted to see what kinda of response i would get. I almost never place below 40% when I'm playing for real i usually play STT and i make off ok but i digress lol thanks for all the posts guys i appretiate all response and i am trying to get to everyone i figured this would be a good way

When someone else doing it is still against forum rules, but mods seems like have a softer heart for old regs here...
TBH these common 5-10 bucks probably don't hurt anybody, but at the end if you don't have a spare 10 dollars on your debit card u should not gamble anyway - you might have bigger problems than missing money for some tourey buy-in.

Now! Let me think. I am (relatively) new somewhere and I want to make friends, so I choose that the best way to do this is to ask them for money! My considerations around this would be whether this is a true friendship builder, or that people may think I am using the friendship thing to scam them. I may have best intentions to invest their money wisely..... By gambling so that I can give it them back at some other time and may not actually be able to do so.
The other alternative view is, I have seen an expensive car that I like and want to buy but just can't afford it, so I ask some random strangers to give me money to achieve ny aim of buying that car. I know it's different and it's only $5, but the principal is the same. It's BEGGING. Would YOUT ake a bowl out into the street and make the request?
