I don't think it is worth betting on Sweden or Italy at those poor odds,I am sure Sweden were favourites for a long time last year as well and lost. Russia have a decent chance but I don't think the public side of the voting will go for them,especially as the winners get to host.A bigger priced bet with a chance could be Serbia,Latvia and Norway and maybe E/W on Azerbaijan.

well lmfao for once the betting shops were spot on- they put sweden, russian and italy as top 3 and all of them finished in exactly same order. talk about "coincidences". i think i need to open some mini betting shop- a pochui betting container shop or sth similar, just to know the inside information on the favs and such...

Not really a night for surprises in this years contest,it is scary at how close the bookies got with nearly every place predicted.....people will start to think the voting process is rigged. UK entry? ? Why ? ?
Well, the semi-finals are rigged as hell 'cuz that is where the jury votes are counts more than the audience's and this is why I lost a hundred euro by lumping on Finland to qualify (they were effin favs just by judging how many people will sympathise with them, of course what they do sounded terrible, but they all sounding terrible 4 me anyway).

I also had a tip about Finland from someone who knows pretty much everything about Eurovision,(I don't see why anyone would watch the semi final unless they were betting ) They also thought Finland would easily qualify and even had it as a long shot to win. Who the hell are these judges anyway?For the UK voting we were represented by Nigella Lawson who is a celebrity chef.....better known these days as taking cocaine and being abused by her husband......how is she connected to music?

KEk, I did not know that. I guess Jeremy Clarkson was not available. Semi-final judges is made up by musicians if I could recall correctly, some of them even participated on the show before.
