Well it is all over and the winner was an American called Cord Garcia,after looking at the results page there were not many players that I had heard of before and I think the tournament has been a success for the WSOP. The only concern I am having with the WSOP is that it seems to be mostly US players and in this game only about 5 or 6 in the top 50 were foreign and I am pretty sure that these days people would agree that American poker does not equate to 90% of the worlds best players.
Kek, this was by far almost the biggest rip-off in live tournament history. 22k players, 600 bucks buy-ins and the first place only pays out 6% of the total. Seeing that the proper WSOP touries have only couple hundred players plus their first prize almost always around 300k this was just ridiculous.
