Poker is a mental sport  +2
Poker is not just a game of chance but is a mental sport that requires physical and intellectual optimal conditions for best results.
Today there are more and more young players win tournaments and that's a sign that physical and mental freshness issue weighs heavily on the final results.
Do you think? Question

Sure!!! you have to be physically mentally strong for it that's why we have lots of degenerated players here after you played your first rigged home game...

absolutely- poker requires lots of physical strength. one must have big biceps and triceps to be able to hold cards in their hands for prolonged periods of time and not to mention the endurance needed for ability to move a huge stack of chips to the middle of the table... that's why more and more players go for online poker... they just don't have enough strength.

If you are one of the better pro internet guys playing big buy in tournaments on a Sunday you could be entering loads of tournies throughout the day so sitting at your computer for the whole day requires a lot of mental strength.

Hello my friends and fellow mobsters

MaxiArma that is a very good question indeed and the answer is at least for me is a very big YES

That is the fight between the poker players and the Gov. regulators they think otherwise they claim it´s a "LUCKY GAME" so with no skills needed just pure luck Aww crap! Aww crap!

Don´t forget to be happy and enjoy life Cool Cool

Yeah i agree with you 100 % that poker need some mental strength to go with it as you cannot win if you dont have a good mental game, take for example if you have a good run and you do not manage your expectations you can end up losing all of the profits and going into the red and all, anyway good luck work on your mental game , one of the best thing you can have as it is always present, use it as a weapon rather than use it wrongly!

ne of the first things I do with my clients is have them fill out what I call a Tilt Profile. This is literally just a document on a notepad or your computer that helps you better define nuances of your own tilt issue. Cool

Hi mate.

This is a old/new question, that maybe in the last 10 15 years, we talk about, and we see thast in Brasil they made the poker a sport of mind, and is one of the world first countrys to aply that, for other countrys, like above some one said this is a Lucky game, that the gov. wants to stay like that, and maybe in 20 25 or 30 years will see the law changed for better and not aply poker was a game of luck, because he need to be strong mental and physical to play the best of us and make good decisions for win.
