I haven't been playing much lately but i saw this tourney on party a couple of weeks ago and if i remembered i have played in it.Well tonight i was doing quite well and i reached the FT in position 4/9 after some ups and downs i was 3rd with 3 of us left ( 180 runners ) big stacks got over 500,000,i've got about 170,000 and the 2nd player has about 220,000 the blinds are 5/10,000. I'm sb and big stacks bb so i get A-Q suited and i raise he re-raises and i go all-in and he calls then turns over A-J,not too bad i thought untill i saw the flop and there it was a bloody jack ! and that's me out,still not too bad i got $20 and a $5.50 dtd ticket so not bad for a freeroll
It was an unfortunate setup but congrats on this nevertheless. Bounty games are tricky but many people like it better because it gives you a bit more rush than any other tournaments. You could try again playing them on a real buy-in, you might have a talent for these, who knows?

i don't play on party poker but isn't 180 players is very low for a freeroll i imagine lot people playing those anyway 20$ from 0$ buy-in is amazing achievement congrats on the win , 4 hours well spent when i play a freeroll on pokerstars i spent 4 or 5 hours and win 0.27$ i might change to party poker good luck in your poker journey

Well done on a nice result, I used to play quite a few of the freerolls on party but I am the same as Demo and recently I can never find the password to enter the games.Annoying as party usally have quite low fields for these games.

So two questions for you if you can answer what are dtd tickets and how did you get in?

Hello all,it wasn't an actual bounty tourney where you get money for knocking out each individual,the bounty was just on one guy (resident pro,i think) and that was $100 plus there was the prizes of cash and tickets. To get the password you have to join the partypoker U.K. facebook page and once you get accepted you get access to the pass,it took 3 days for me. Oh and the dtd is dusk till dawn who are running the promo on party i think my ticket gets me into the next round i'm not sure i'll have to check that.

Congratulations. Nice finish there with good money. You got unlucky with that last hand, one of the worst ways to get kicked out of a tourney If you manage to finish on the final table with the ticket also, the result will be much greater. Good luck.

I tried to sign up for the party facebook page which this tourney is linked to but it just never added me.I think maybe it is because I use a separate facebook for all my poker/casino and shopping stuff. I think facebook are still taking liberties with our contacts and privacy and I don't want all my friends seeing loads of links to gambling sites.

Hi mate.
First of all i want to give you a congratulations, because guys like you and the pinnote came here and share this kind of results, that in this kind of tournaments is realy good thing, and a huge help to the bankroll.
In that tickets of 5.50$, we want to see another good result posted here on the forum.

Well done TeddyBears. I played this tourney and finished up around 50th having spent much of the game card dead. These are pretty good promos from PartyPoker and well worth playing whenever you get the chance. Looking forward to sitting at a table near you sometime soon.
