I have just won 15 dollars in a tournament on 88 poker. In the end I have unfortunately only finished in 2 nd place. But I have been the chipleader for quite some time. With my last hand heads I went all in with AJ and got called by 54 suited and lost it.

Finishing second is a good place and the money won, was good also. The only bad thing was losing like that. These suited callers with any cards they get driving me crazy. In this case he was after a straight also but again... Take down the next one.

congrats on taking down 2nd place and winning $15. too bad at that stage of the game someone is still stupid enough to call with 4/5. good luck in future games.

Yes I am still glad about my finish, because in a heads up anything can happen. And I have to admit that my opponent was a pretty good poker player and finally someone has to loose, especially with the blinds extremely high at that stage.

Congratz on a decent result. You obviously did well to be chip leader for most of the tourney but once it gets to heads up then things can change very quickly. If you were being called with 45 then either you had got really short or he was happy to finish the game and there is not much you can do in that situation.

Was a bit of bad luck the last hand but it's poker a his best the new fashion at poker suited cards so let's go
Don't forget to be happy and enjoy life
Normally I would not say that about me, but this time I have really played quite well indeed. But of course I have had my fair share of luck as well (one time kings and also aces) and I got all the money in the pot with these monsters.

Greetings from greatgame
Thank you very much for the conratulations, but I have to admit, that although it normally is quite hard to reach a heads up it has not really been the case this time, because there were only about 50 people playing the tournament.

Posted by Editke46: Congratulation on your result!!! second place and the 15 USd is a nice price! If you play well patiently this money will be multiply!
A,J lost again 5,4... well this is typical on online poker! Do not be sad bcause of this! This often happens to me!
he was a lucky fish!
Well Done and keep walking!!!
I really feel like I have to defend my dear opponent a little bit here. In this case he was a lucky dog, because I have had the better hand. But I did not have too many chips left, so I could have gone all in with a wide range of hands. Under these circumstances a call with 54 suited is still OK.

Unfortunately I did not have so much luck this time round, because I went out of the tournament very early. I decided to go all in with AK in order to get any loose callers with AJ or AQ. I got called by a pair of sevens and lost it.

And here we go. This time I have been the lucky part in an heads up. Yesterday I did reach another final table in a similar tournament. In the heads up I went all in wit a pair of 7 and got called by KK. And guys what? I floped a seven and won the tournament!
