You can bet that after you have checked at all, hoping that your opponent check again be one of the later rounds. Maybe you're planning to spend you too, to obtain a free card. Is this offensive action? No, this is a defensive or misleading, or both action.

i testify that s**tcake is any kind of food, usually baked, with a consistency and texture resembling that of s**t. When eaten, the strong sensation of feeling as though one were chewing on s**t slowly takes over the mind. It's then spit or swallow time. Shitcakes can often contain nuts or dried fruit, which sometimes enhance the sensation of chewing on s**t.

lol I agree this topic doesn't make much sense, but he has a point though. Knowing why you're beting is really basic... but it's important to think about it while you're playing. It's a common mistake to see players take lines that make absolutely no sense and therefore their river or turn bluff doesn't work. Acting impulsively just for pure agression can cost you a lot of cash in the long run.

Great issue! Despite the potential original confusion. It is a good reminder to people to remember why it is that they are actually making the play that they are. One of the lessons I learned was not to make plays 'just in case', (bluffing is not a 'just in case' play, it is a reasoned and considered attempt to win the hand) and as long as you comply with this and make sensible meaningful plays, then your BR should remain intact and you will give yourself a chance of winning.
