The difference in customer support between party and stars is rather significant, I don't think a simple merger with 888 will be enough to bridge the gap (888 support is shocking too).
It is well known on here that I have had my issues with party and it's support, and it is common on these forums and others to see that any complaints get met with a standard email saying it isn't their fault (and taking over 24 hours for a reply).

Contrast this with my other half who has an account with Stars.
He made a bet and it wasn't settled 6 hours after the event finished. He mailed customer support and within 5 minutes he had an email apologising and saying the bet had been settled manually.
That was 2 days ago. Today he emailed support to say a free £20 bet he was expecting hadn't been credited and that he thinks it was his fault because he did an inplay bet first followed by the correct bet.
Within 20 minutes he again had a mail apologising, saying there was an error crediting the free bet and that it had been added in cash.

That is two issues, both solved within 20 minutes and the whole lot solved in 2 days (on party you would still be explaining the problem to support who would simply send a generic response).

Yes they are pretty damn fast when it comes to this things, i must say their operating team does the job with whatever problem u have. One big plus for the support but not for the game on tabels.

Gotta agree Poker Stars support is the best last email i sent them response was 5 minutes and problem solved with 888 poker latest Splash promotion i sent them email with problem not enough tickets issued after completing 3 daily missions 2 times i sent email and issue was not resolved.

I totally agree with you Pokerstars support is very good and fast and customer oriented Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

In terms of speed there is no comparison they sort things out and fix them way faster then anyone else in the market they always seem more accurate Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Maybe the merge will bring good news at 888/Party

Well, I should say that any site with a live chat would have instantly better support, but even I know that's not necessarily true. The amount of inept live chat operators I've met during my gambling carrier is truly astonishing, so yeah I sort of agree of PS have top notch support, even if it's offline.

I never wait more than 45min for cashout.That is first thing.I said once support is probably best in milky way galaxy.Ii send email to SKRILL and PAYPALL and i waith 2 days from PAYPAL and SKRILL dont answer at all.

I don't think that is on their support though. Different department doing the financial shenanigans everywhere - this is why many casino sites does not have manual flushing - they don't have enough manpower to do every transaction every time just when you want it, besides wanting to keep the players money as long as they please.

Normally the stars support is one of the best of all online poker rooms. Verry fast and helpfull and you get not only standard emails. And the cashout are verry fast and serious.

With their budget ans personnel, you cant expect something else.
And for the amount of players they have, the responses they give in such a short time, according to icequeen's post are excellent.

I wouldnt mind getting an answer in anything that im concerned in 24hrs period.
As long as i knew i was getting an answer. Some site dont even have this.

well, its not just about them having tons of money. Some other sites make decent money too but their support is still dire, or lets just look at Steam.... they make like 16 trillions a day but that doesnt stop them from using monkeys to click big red button saying "we are sorry its your fault we cant do anything about it".

so kudos to stars for actually taking care of their users and thats how you run a successful business. For someone to overtake stars they would have to top their support too, so its great for customers too.
