After having a bad few weeks on prty it was nice to stop the rot last night, i entered a $1 buy-in $750 gtd tourney and made the FT after some steady play and a couple of breaks i think i was 5/9 and eventually got heads up with me having 700k and the leader on 1.3m. final hand was me on the bb (blinds were 40/80k ) with K-J of he goes all in and i call he shows 33 well there was a straight draw on the flop but i couldn't hit and his 33 held Anyway 2nd place out of 345 players and $130 made it bearable.

... < Nice goin' there teddy man...!!! Buck thirty...??? A VERY decent consolation prize considering...! ...but it would certainly have been nice to take it down...
... < That's more that I've ever won in a single online game.. About $100 is my highest...!
Grats teddy well done. 133 gain is a very good prize. Shame u didnt finish first. My biggest success was on Pokerstars playin 100k freeroll - 21720 players in - i finished 3 place and got 90$, had the chance to overcome but blew it, but the biggest consolation was i went against so manny players.

A nice result Teddybear,so close to winning and cashing $134 from a $1 buy in is definitely worth the 3 or 4 hours of playing. There have been some quite good games on PP lately, especially the DTD freerolls.

Congratulations on our win. While the money in first place was much better of course, the prize for second place was also very good. And all that for 1$ of yours . So if you invest the money in playing same format again, you are gonna be playing for a long time

Nice one TeddyBears, it's always great to see a Mobster coming good in a tourney, and in this one that's not a bad return on investment is it? Good luck at the tables and I will keep an eye out for you at Party where I like playing at the moment.

Aye most of my $5.50 games come from tickets,it's getting a bit harder to win them though as the 10c sattys are just shove any 2 and hope for the best basically. and i've won a few of those nice to see you are doing well keep it up IQA

Ahh cool, you are more organised than me.
I play the 5pm dtd freeroll for a $1 ticket and then I play the $1 nano with either cash or ticket for a payout and a $5 ticket, then I use the $5 ticket to win into the $27.50 (where I had a couple of minimum cashes)
The bonus for me is getting the points for the BRM freeroll so I don't have to grind points and can play my proper games on other sites!
