Lamborghini seized after raid on illegal poker ring in US.  0
If you feel annoyed after losing a couple of bucks playing poker then imagine if you were the guy who just had his Lamborghini Huracan, cost new is $250k, seized by police after they busted an illegal poker room operating in Illonois,US. Smile
Also seized were a Porsche Panamera and a Mercedes E63 AMG along with $25k in cash.In total 13 people were arrested for various offences including gambling and drug possession.
A great quote came from one of the police involved...." the Lamborghini was new and so expensive we did not want to tow it so one of the police officers drove the car to the police station".....Really???.....or did they just want a spin in a supercar. Smile

Good thing we dont live in america, they have a law called "Civil Forfeiture" that allows the cops in this case to seize not just the money in play but also the expensive cars, im surprised they didnt take the building or house where they had their game, youtube "Civil Forfeiture" youll be amazed what u find.

Nice tip they had there for the bust. They were in an illegal room, and they had to go
with their expensive cars. What they were thinking? Smile
I bet, that was just excuses, for the cop to drive the car.
Who wouldnt want to drive such a car in any chance they can get.

They were probably thinking that at least the owners of the room going to get some corner kids or security involved to make sure nobody busts them uninvited or as a surprise.

Haha you see even reach people like the thrill of poker and i bet he had a blast when he heard and saw that his car was busted and taken and he had one of his best days, anyway you will always have illegal rooms when you have gambling banned, just look at the size of the US and surely there must be some black market and illegal poker game, anyway have fun at the tables guys dont do anything illegal and win some money !

I know I would find somewhere legal to play poker, there is no way I would go to a dodgy illegal poker room with loads of cash and I definitely would not be taking a Lamborghini there. Smile It is likely that the cars were taken from the people who ran the poker room so they must be setting some good rake fees. Smile

Investigators broke up the gambling ring Wednesday night at a former pain clinic on the 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue, where they took 12 men and one woman into custody, recovered about $25,000 and seized three luxury cars.

So, the other 10 or so criminals didn't have nice enough cars to have them confiscated. Or were they carpooling in these 3 exotic cars?

Vu Trong Hoang, 36, of Chicago; Aki Nakagawa, 33, of Chicago; Kevin L. Janowiak, 53, of Mount Prospect; and Phillip L. Nguyen, 43, of Naperville were charged with gambling and felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Shamefully, there was at least one Japanese individual involved in this illegal operation or activity.

Yeah, but if the nearest indian casino is hundreds of miles away from you in the US then you might not give a damn about finding a proper establishment to gamble. Chicago have some semi-famous gambling dens anyway which all run by asians. Exotic cars is not that uncommon sometimes they using them as pawn items.

I thought maybe poker was not available in Illinois but a quick look on the internet and there are hundreds of places to go with lots of big casinos and plenty of poker rooms as well.It is not easy to tell how big this illegal poker was, maybe they were just a bunch of rich friends enjoying a nice daily home game. Smile

biggest difference between legal, and illegal room is what you can do in them, you can get so blasted in a private illegal poker room,so drunk, and still play poker,me personally I would just stay home and play then go play a shady room.
