what can i say is that this result is beyond amazing- no one expected a tantalizing win for Dan Stacey except Dan Stacey himself and a couple of his drunk friends. in the eyes of the public Paren Arzoomanian and Chris Swinden were seen as more likely eventual winners, but fortune showed her a55 to those dudes.
I have just read 'Dan Stacey wins Isle of Man' and my immediate thought was that there is no way the british lottery fund has this much of a power that they could just offer an island as winnings for anybody... Then I knew this is not april fools day and I missed a word in the title.

i love it when they said " after just 8 hours in the final table " i know it is less hours considering the bigger tournaments but i can't imagine myself sitting for 8 hours straight anyway congrats to Dan Stacey and for the first time , i like the deal .. they decided just to split the money and leave some for 1st place 24K not bad

Well done to Dan Stacey on a very good win,I think this is his biggest win in terms of money and also a pretty good title as well.After 4 hours heads up it is definitely well deserved.

They did not sit eight hours straight. That eight hours had many breaks and dead time too.
