I think the answer is obvious with a long-ranged view. A pro, is gonna win and a donkey is gonna lose, that's for sure, so where do you wanna bet your money ?

playing against pros is way better because you cant bluff a donkey they dont know how to fold plus when you bust a pro you gain way more respect than if you take another idiot s money

think that sums it up nicely, you cant bluff a don and if you can bluff how you gunna win, cant rely on nice cards alone.
i am not sure. ussually i play higher stakes against better players because theyre easyer to bluff. against donks, i play 10-20 cents tables and wait for a 2 pair or higest pair high kicker hand and go all in. at 6 man table, one will call and you can crush micro tables with that strategy, but you have to put max cash at table.

playing vs pro you can learn and playing vs donk you can only play for money if that money is enough for you thats ok but i think is beter to play vs pro.

Think so too. There nothing worse than being constantly lucked away by some Donk raising whatever he has on his secondpair/med kicker just so he can get his 2Pair or Trips on River...

U are all wrong u need to and have 2 play both and i dont prefer neither onlyhting id prefer is havin them seperated on the tables bcause its very hard 2 sit at a table with the best pro and then the biggest donk especially when u might not know which is which in the beggining!!!! The donk might give u money but the pro gives u experience!! the difference is i get mad when i play the donk and not when i play the better player!!! THE SECOND U CATEGORIZE YOURSELF UR FUCKED!! As a poker player u gotta bring the game to them and dont b afraid to feed the donkey a little because if u show him weakness his money will pour out of his hand the same goes for the pro play a bit donkey and insecure and hell be after u like a wolf after a wounded rabbit!!! corner yourself then bite back!!! THE CAMELEON WHOULD MAKE THE BEST PLAYER!!

------------ Well a pro u can bluff and have him fold the better hand but the donk will go allin anywhere during the play even though he never will hit!!! Everything is relative and categorizing it 2 donks and other players is wrong and missleading!!! Should b donks chickens pros average player rookie and idiots!! feel free 2 add a category hahhaha
I would choose the pro, simply to improve my game.
I guess nobody here wants to stay in the low limits forever, with those " juicy " 16$ pots most people are posting about. If you want to become able to beat harder games, you have to find out how good players think. And the best way is to play against them.
And when I read all this: you can bluff a pro better than a donk, bad players call with bad hands/make bad moves blag blah, easier to bluff a pro, etc. etc.:
good players are playing the full spectrum of hands and are playing a mixed strategy.
Or would you say that for example Antonius is only raising and reraising premium hands???? Or calling with the nuts??
Of course it pays off to play against a donk, but when youre moving up the limits, it gets harder and harder to find "donks". You will find good, very good and excellent players, and they will bet out, bet, bet, again and again. Quite hard to fight that with an arsenal of weapons developed in the fight against cally-wallies and tight-passive players.

This is kind of a easy question. I rather play with donks then pros. In the long run the pro will bet the crap out of you. When the donk might get lucky in a couple of hands but in the long run you will get winnings. Dont forget it is money we are playing with. The idea is to get your money to grow and take someone elses money. Think of it like this. You are about to play golf for real money who would you rather play Tiger Woods or a beginner?

When playing sit n go i dont like table full of donks. Its better a mix of players like 4 donks, 3 not experienced players and 3 good players. Then its easy to get into the money

I'd rather play donks because in the end they are going to make more mistakes that you can capitalize on which will more than make up for the bad beats you occassionally get.

Yes your right didnt mention that. When full of donks its difficult to play cos its raise reraise allin every hand
