PokerStars sets the new record with 253,698 players in their Common Cents Kick-Off tournament.
A new record for the ‘largest online poker tournament’ was set by PokerStars on the October 5, 2015. A total of 253,698 players participated in the $0.01 Common Cents Kick- Off tournament, a new micro-stakes tournament series run by PokerStars.
The tournament winner was ‘DaDumon’ from Austria, who won $10,000 after nearly seven hours of tournament play after fronting a single cent buy-in.
$10,000 for an investment of just only 7hrs and $0.01, only at pokerstars you are going to find crazy things like that... great record though could have been +1 entrant if I played it but was sick on that day
u know i would give it a high five for achiving that, but since his moves were all bingo play and forcing the game cause of the leading stacks of chips - i wouldnt give him 2 cents as a reward. Ive watched the final tabel and must say it was apsurd like Jokerstars now days - wanted to throuup from the discusting s**t they pull and how they make a simple game look like "hit the pinata - doesnt matter just swing" But what to expect from the site that is so rigged that even birds sing it.

With just over a quarter of a million entries in the previous world record tournament I was surprised to see it only lasted seven hours.I should think the first couple of levels was a total bingo all in but for only 1c I don't suppose any winners were complaining.

i think that the major surprise here is not the world record being set and the previous ones broken, but the fact that it was not russian who won it. other than that- no wonder that world records are being broken when buy-ins are as high as 1 cent... we live in a world of unprecedented wealth.

I like that every time they set a world record. Is there a point to this any more? They have the more players after all, so who is going to break that record if not them. Not to mention that they are buying it, in some way

yupiiiii for jokerstars, what a software, man what a software, nice of them to get in the Guinness book of records, well they can buy just about anything, they are almost hands down without competition, so its easy to set and brake records, i remember a time when PP was the king of the hill, then FT got to be for a while, but we all know what happened to FT with not payed founds of players and black friday, and B WIN, RS, PP,and all other big shot trail waaaaaaay behind PS now adays, but i see hope in 888, donno where those guys come from, but they are very serious at what their intentions are, and with their fast growing player base, and good promotions, in time i think they are the only one that can pull the rug under PS, sorry jokerstars, so go 888 i am seriously rooting for u guys, to put those cuunts in their place
wouldnt agree with u on that cause i just came from 888 and guess what - had an AA hand and raise about pot, now the flop comes 7Q7 since i didnt have no presure from my opponent i raised the big one - guess what my opponent was holding - yep Q7 - so rigged as f**k. Scumbags.

It's interesting..... Aggressive play is now being criticised as bingo. It's a cheap entry game and to be expected... He was on a losing to nothing by playing how he did... It's no different to the other freerolly type games where someone has to win.... By hook or by crook!
it wasnt a freeroll as is 500 $ depositors tourny and just hand after that - i had J6 of hearts - flop J, 6, 10, agian im ahead but he pushes chips - turn 8 - he hit straight and i fall out of turnament. Just dont understand if this f**kin software already desided to go in his favour - why that brain f**k - trow something else mothef... so i can fold. I mean if thats the s**t they pull then they shouldnt give me those tickets at the first place and maybe give me 100 spins at slot machines.

Sorry buva and damosk, but i have to disagree with u guys on this one, no other software by faaaaaaaaaaaar doesnt deal bad beats and suckouts like jokerstars does, and i know what i am talking about here, i play poker on tons of software, PP,DP,PKR,bWIN,FT,888 for fack sakes even poker MIRA doesn't deal that many bad beats and suckouts, i have made on all those software a bankroll out of scratch and manage to grow it, except on jokerstars, where i got from zip to 50 something and just got crushed, guess they don't like freeloaders in one week in particular the suck outs were unbearable, i wish i posted them on boomplayer just for u to see how frequent were they, at one point i lost my self on PS, didn't know with what hand to open, should i call, should i fold, it messed me up pretty bad, so i decided to fack off the rest of my bankroll there, and to fack off their software of my pc
agree with that 2 but that whats going on with u on jokerstars is happenint to me on 888 - like im some dumb player who bets on 23 hand. Gona treat me like that - i mean wtf. Track my statistic stupid peace of trash software then deside do i have to bust out like any damn fish or shoud i run a long one. Is that so hard to half retard artifical intelgence to do so lol and im laughing as f**k now.
------------ So sorry for u losing money on fishdonkbingostars.com , hate to hear that and not even see. One more reason for u not to deposit there. Im staying loyal only to FT from now on and the rest of softwares are soon gona b bootassed.
------------ maybe i even write them a mail "i see you got big plans for me - yea f**k me in brain" you know i like it

Im not sorry to lose my bankroll there buva, coz it seriously effected my play on other software i was playing at the same time, got in to a tilt situations very often coz of that donk rewarding, worst hand always wins, bingo infested, u think u have the nuts well im gonna deal u a bad beat till the river jokerstars, so yes like u, im staying with FT and couple of others where the software aint that good, but at least the donks and bingo players get punished for playing bad and not rewarded

I cant seriuosly believe that u really think that the biggest rooms like PS or 888 are rigged?
Ok, your AA got cracked by Q7 - whats so strange there? Put it in calculator, AA only win like 80% of time against Q7? The problem is the guy holding Q7 probably wont lose his whole stack in those 80% cases, but you will in those 20% with AA.
I've played on Stars for years now and I witnessed so sick one-outters and two-outters in both in my favour and against me.. its a normal thing I think you guys just like to be selective with your memory or you are some big conspiracy theories lovers
lol westside now read the other post beneath that one, but before finishing that read this - i had 68 hand on 7, 5, 4, flop - means 100% - now my opponent who has nothing but a Q8 of hearts pushes all in and hits heart on turn and one on river - think u are in delusion not me or my awearness. Anyway stay cool as usual.

Okay, I took a second and I put those numbers into a odds calculator You have 83.33% equity to win the pot, you'll chop it in 12% of time and he'll win in 4.55% times.
So in 1 out of 5 times you won't win the pot. It will happen sometimes. IT HAS to happen sometimes.
Yes, you flopped absoulte nuts, but that can never guarantee you to win the pot at showdown - I mean those are poker fundamentals...
You can even flop the absolute nuts (100% as you call it) and still (against certain hand) you would have ''only'' 55% to win the pot at showdown
