I was playing a tourney on party when i noticed an unusual avatar.
I hit full screen so i could get a better look.
Sure enough
It was a picture of a young female about 5 years old standing up in a bathtub, naked, and what looked like she was looking down at her private parts.( it was a side view)
Now i understand some parents like to take photo's of their children in cute poses, some with cloths on and some without.
Those are family photo's you keep to your family, so you can tease them when they get older.
But you do NOT put them on a public poker site for everyone to see them.
So i complained to party, and the next day they sent me an email saying sorry the photo had slipped through their system, and has been removed, and the player has been given a warning about trying to upload another one.

Well done Crash,good to see that you actually took the time to get in contact with party to get some action taken.I really don't know what kind of parent would put up that kind of picture for use as an avatar......sounds very strange.

Whilst I would never put something like that, I can totally see why some people would and would be perfectly ok with it. 'picture of innocence' etc etc

pictures of naked children whether its their own kid or not,i wouldn't even put my daughters face on a poker site nevermind anything else and I'm not sure but is it not illegal to take pics of your kids in the bath nowadays?

No why would it be illegal?
As I understand it, there was NOTHING sexual in the pic and nothing was shown OP even had to make screen bigger to be sure of what he could see
I would say its inappropriate, but nothing sick in it

I am also mindful that the culture in other countries is totally different than what the culture on images of children is in the UK.I have worked with children all my working life and in the last couple of years there is a real sense of paedophile paranoia in a lot of what we can do with photos etc,it has also affected any men we employ massively as they are terrified of doing anything that could be thought of in that way.
