I watched this event on TV and it was very painful to see especially when they took the crown off the first 'winners' head to give it to the real winner. I cant believe that they will ever let him host this again

well there's a story fluctuating that this actually wasn't any mistake whatsoever- some sources claim that this was a very intelligent pr stunt and there is some logic behind this... just look at the amount of publicity this situation got. i find it really hard to understand how it's realistically possible to make this mistake "accidentally"... not so many info to remember, not so many info to read from the paper you have in front of your eyes...

Yeah, but still this could ruin Steve Harveys carrier as a whole, so I just don't get it why he went along with the scenario.

I too saw this on to and thought it was absolutely hilarious. The result card didn't leave anything to the imagination so how he got I wrong, who knows. What was even more interesting was the claim by Colombia that it was a fix to pour ridicule on them as they are a power house of beauty pageants and someone wanted to humiliate them.

I was surprised to see that there was still a Miss Universe....it is definitely not well publicised in the UK so at the very least this "mistake" has got them loads of media coverage......I am sure this kind of thing happened on one of the X factor type shows recently as well.
