Pokerstars: is this the beginning of the end?  +1
These new promotions on PS are poo! I must have played 50 or more of these all in shootouts and not won a single tickets. My best finish was about 300 with only 64 places paid, and even then you only win a 50 cent spin & go ticket. What a joke!

The best I did was getting into the second round a dozen times. But that just about it, no ticket, nothing. Like usual.

What do you guys expect? There are only 64 tickets, and often over 20.000 players. As usual with even normal freerolls at Stars, it is more of a lottery, than a tourney. Improve your coin flipping skills.

exactly the skill element is removed so its all straight up luck involved just good to try because its free but without any expectations of winning or coming out ahead

now to answer the op's question "is this the beginning of the end?" i can say that... who knows: it might be the beginning of the end or it might be the beginning of the new era or it might even be even the beginning of the new end... we will just have to keep and open eye, mouth ans anus and see how this one unfolds.

Ahhh yes, I'm reminded of the old adage, "If it ain't broken, don't try to fix it".

With 20,000 players registered there isn't really a great chance of winning but if it is free and you are on the site anyway then you can only hope you get lucky.I doubt this would be the final nail in pokerstars coffin but there has been a few negative reactions to PS promos lately so maybe this could be the beginning. Smile

I got sick of death in the day I was born! Cool Addicted people are everywhere around the world,so do not worry to much about their imminent collapse. The king is dead, long live the king! Some will lose something, others will gain a few,and overall,PS is still taking money

Only good thing with the recent changes at Stars is for chrome star players an extra 5K weekly to play once a week and extra 20K at the end of the month minus the 100K free rolls Thumbs Down Thumbs Down agree with the above post if it ain't broke don't fix it Agree Blink

For God's Sake no all-in shootout requires any kind of skillset besides knowing where to register...
