Another one bites the dust.
Poker is more and more in trouble every day. I know TP was a small site with low traffic but traffic does seem to be declining everywhere and the game is getting harder and harder to beat these days

The poker boom is over for some time now, and this means the player base is shrinking. Everyone involved is hoping for new players with frsh money signing up. Just look how Amaya focuses on recreational players, aka players that deposit money.

And the main reason for this, is the regulations from all countries that have tken place lately, limiting the number of players for many sites. And it is not an easy thing getting licenses and paying taxes in so many countries. Plus you may do this, and still go out of business for other reasons
I hope they wont get awa ywith players money like other sites have done so far.

Everybody pays the rake, so Amaya gets paid either way. The new changes on PS are bad for almost everyone - just not equally bad. They are trying to be more than just a place to play poker - not sure they could succeed but this is where the business makes them to go now, so they'll go...

So many new poker site born, but no have new idea in marketing so that happen, some born others closed. No deposit bonus just old idea !!. they should more innovative in marketing. They have to start to do active lobby or explanation to goverment all in the world, poker is not gambling, poker is skill game for example. They should be make cooperation with International Mind Sport Association maybe. Is USA still band poker site ?
And I'm not really surprised, you will see more and more small sites with low traffic to close soon or later as online poker is hitting crisis years coming up...

Got an email from terminal with the announcement that they end the 1 st of Feb.
Withdraw my money already to skrill... recieved it all
They are offering pokerloco as alternative... see what they have to offer
I ll remember terminal poker as a profitable site for me, low traffic, they had interesting freerolls in the past , made over 200 euros there just with a 5 euro ndbonus from BRM. Could withdraw my money as I collected enough rakepoints.

Good to hear that they are paying players. And i hope they will pay all of them.
Cause im the bright example of a site that closed payed many players but i didnt get paid If i remember right the name was High Pulse or something like that They said they had a problem and that they would process the cash out manually. That was the last response i got from them. Got nothing

Maybe they are walking to your house to give money in your hands (that's what they meant with manually)

Yea thats what they are doing, but their GPS isnt working i guess For some reason their automated system of transferring money to moneybookers, went off at that period. Like there is a site even today that does cashouts fully auto There is not a single one.
I am not sure if the game is harder to beat today, but it's true that the hype around poker seems to have stopped expanding. Black friday kind of put poker even more on the map when it happened, but it's been a while since poker has been mainstream. We barely see our favorite pros play on TV anymore, they're all playing in macau or something
Terminal poker terminated seems to make sense though

Yes everywhere is risky to have your money. But in banks they are more secure. Besides the fact there are the local branches, which you have access to, and can visit any time, it is not so easy for them to go out of business.
They are always trying to put their hands in, succeeding most of the times.

The gold is if you have big savings to convert it to it. Otherwise its not practical for the obvious reasons. The way it goes in order to protect yourself, you need to split your money in different ways, to cut your losses at some point.
Thats was their goal from like forever. To widen that gap, We the rich and you the slaves. ehm i mean the poor

Like any big business, the tendency is always to continue in the market who is dedicated more to business. Small poker rooms are with the days to close the doors. The large rooms as PS, FT, 888 will always take over the market with great deals and grandiose marketing campaigns to sell more players every day. This is normal in today's world

Not about deals most of the times. The new poker sites, have more and better deals than the big sites. And yet they dont manage to stay on business. You need to have a good complete package to stay on top, getting new players and expanding your database. But at this point it means even more money to spend on it.
