well i read the headlines about the superbowl this, superbowl that, what to eat at superbowl, how to enjoy the superbowl, how to manage to take a quick sh1t while watching superbowl and such... still i guess this hype is mostly in americas... back here in the wilderness of lithuania we are mostly interested in basketball (booooring) and football (not so boring).
The hype is most certainly real, otherwise the NFL would not have three fully booked regular season games in Europe every year. But the odds got smashed hard, I was able to back Carolina @3 right before the conference finals, I think I'll ride it out without hedging - for the sake of maximum profit.
I watched a preview on TSN and main reason Denver is in the Super Bowl is because of their #1 ranked defence Carolina also very strong watching them defeat the Arizona Cardinals I give the edge in this game for Carolina with the mobility of Cam Newton creating plays when no wide receivers are open down field I predict the Panthers win by a touchdown.
Also don't forget how banged up was New England in the AFC Finals, it could have been a lot closer game if they have more healthy starters. The Broncos defense overhyped as much as Carolina's offense, I think it will be a close deal with a lot of running game - the fact that 80% of the bets is on Carolina makes me a bit nervous about mine.
Aaand it made me nervous rightfully so. Hats of to last year's best defense - damn Von Miller now has an MVP title and a SuperBowl ring. Good for him. Should have gone for that hedge, maybe next time.
