Maybe 3 to 4 hour sessions are a bit long to be fully focused till the end, even if you are still young. I always try to keep a session under one hour, and make a break before the next one, when i play cash games.

Good advise !! But when we at winning session we forgot ! want to win more ! if then we lost some of our winning we want our winning back . Sthep doing good, he could stop. Play too much is not good for me.

my concentration was fine, I just had couple of bad beats... like FHvsFH, broadway vs Fh... and so on... and I wasnt at tilt, thats why I menaged to recover some of my profit... and i think 4 hours sessions are suited to me... befor I know to sit down and play 12+ hours multitable session...

As long you finish your sessions with a profit everything is good. Try to put a goal for your sessions and when you hit the setup mark stop playing. 20-25$ is a good one. But that doesnt mean you cant quit, if your profit is less

I play as much as I think clear and make good decisions... when my concentration is going down, I quit, no matter if I am up or down...

I wish I could do the same during work, every day would be a new adventure 4 how long I could keep up.

I usually get up after i double up, maybe play couple more hands just in case the variance is still on my side and i can make couple of bucks more, but that aint the case most of the time, so as soon as i double up i just leave, dont care if some1 says im hit and run

I think it's also a lot about discipline and knowing your limits. And being able to realize when you're being impatient after a cooler or a long session being card dead. In cash games, being able to stop leaks in your own game is as important if not more than being able to extract value from opponents. So it's also very important to be aware of your table image and for that you need focus.
But yeah, keeping the blood flowing by getting up now and then, doing some squats or something is good, and taking breaks regularly to relax brains/eyes too!

If you can keep doing this then i think its ok StheP. It is a good thing being able to quit when you are losing. Too many players do here the biggest mistake, trying to get their losses back int the same session or day and they lose even more.
