of course that big of a crime as an illegal betting of such horrific magnitude like 15 and a half dollaros must be punished with extreme measurements. such crimes just show the true levels of degeneration that our society has come to witness each and every day. oh my- 15 and a half dollaros... such horrible crime...

I know that $15.50 bet is not a big amount and big story about it.
However if he for this time bet a small amount can we say it was a tried to see if he could bet on games without problem then a little more for an other try and so on.
This guy would have make a lot of money if he had not been caught the first.
I know that i am going far but i am pretty sure that you all know about a baseball player who did bet for many years and there probably may of players in all sports that are doing it.
Thank God that they were able to catch this master-criminal and get her out of the loop for a long time. Yeah, every sport need to follow these measures - no matter how stupid, inconsistent and downright degrading are they... Christ, dumbness knows no borders, isn't it?

A crime is a crime, regardless of the value involved. It doesn't matter whether she bet .50c or 5million...... The issue is it is very naughty and should not have been done. People should know what they can and can't do and not so the naughty things they should not do. But betting on cricket?

Thepoint is, WHO decides what the cut off is. I mean $15 is ok? How about $150? $1500? $15000? $150000?
The rule is a blanket ban, she broke the rule.
