Played poker the other day and a player hit a straight flush. What made it special (to me) was that it was 6 cards long. (Naturally only five counts) I have never before seen that.

I ever seen 7 cards straight flush ! But I ignore it. What for ? I may concern at winning card ! At the table playing one or two pairs is more difficult ( on winning purpose, of course ). Straight flush is more quarantee to win ( just consider higher straight flush possibility ) Most of the time I lost big stack or out from tourney when I had 2 pair and opp 3 of kind

Yes of course, my question is only for curiosity, not strategy or anything too important. Just interested in theoretical "ridicilous" hands. for example two quads w/ a kicker in omaha.

You can see such hands more often when you play omaha. But at the end nothing changes, It is the same winning combination The point is to get the most of it when you hit such a hand.
