I loughed so much right now... there is mission on pokerstars right now called "The streak" and there is no reward for completing it O.o its just for fun O.o it seems pokerstars went with other genious promotion right here xD

That room will die soon, trust me on that, with the new boss and their greed its onky a matter of time b4 they go under, 2 bad they would take with them my favy room which is FT, god how i hate this greedy bastards, i faking had it with greedy corporations taking over everything thats good and turn it in to BS, sooner or later WE THE PEOPLE should take a stand, and say fak u to them. Expect no more freebies from them in the future, or far less then today, thats all i have to say.

Rising rake at PokerStars
Here is a summary of the main changes:
- The rake of the Spin & Go will be increased by one percent for buy-ins from $ 1 to $ 30, except for those 3%. An increase of 2% will be applied to them.
- The rebuys and add-ons will now have an associated rake same as the original buy-in. Only once it was subject to a levy of rake.
- The rake hyper-turbo MTT will be increased to 5%.
- The rake will be increased in most parts of the money NL and PL, especially heads-up.
Pokerstars says the overall impact of these changes will be a rake of 4% increase.

This is a really novel idea. Run a promotion where people have to pay to play...have to achieve a pretty cool outcome and then the bonus for doing so is....... NOTHING? I can't even start to imagine how people could even start to conceive these ideas..... But there will be loads of people doing this challenge! Good luck to em is what I say!

Well King it looks like that soon is NOW Expect a software to showup from players buy players, advertised by players, and see how the greedy bastards will try to take it down hard as they can, coz they know soon as a software like that pops up, it will be more in favor of players and not greedy bastards.

Im not sure why you dont like PS, really. I like it, because of lots of players, so i can always play the game i want, not the play that has players. And about big corps taking over good things and turning to bad (Fulltilt) - really? So the FT was a good site and PS forced hes owners to steal money from players and then took it over. Without PS there would not be FT anymore at all.

Dunno what is making me more sad, this news or the ways Amaya ruining PS since they bought up the company.

Well pokkerimees, if u missed the news about all the new changes they did, and what King mentioned in his post, then i really dont know what to tell you. I also have been playing PS for over ten years, and let me tell you something for a fact, IT AINT THE SAME ROOM IT WAS 10 YEARS AGO, not software wise, and not player pool wise. I remember when FT was the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, have to say they were for a long time in the shadow of PartyPoker, but after signing the biggest poker names at that time, they took the lead from PP and never looked back, until that black friday, when the company owner decided with the others, to use the event, to take all the money, and the money that was deposited in the mid time, and took off, hoping that nothing from that will catch up to them, which turned as a badddddd decision on their part, and i gotta say here i was trilled when PS decided to buyout FT and return the players money, great decision on their part, they save the players and the software from going in to history. And thats when i noticed, something different in the software of PS, then it started to act up, all the bad beats stories, the babysitting of players, and everything else the players complaint about, but then again, they have to return the money the spend somehow, so i went on a quest to find out how poker rooms made money, what was there main income, and like most of u would guess, and ull be right, its the rake they charge on every hand, but the thing i didnt know for a long time it was, IF THE POT IS BIGGER, THE RAKE IS BIGGER ALSO, now this key, let me repeat that, KEEEEEEEEY piece of information made allllllllllll the difference, now everything makes sense, they deliberately put players in spots to raise and call, so that the pot would grow even bigger thus the rake is bigger, and coz there has to be a winner and a loser, one will win the pot the other will lose it. But in order to make profit, they need to make the rake bigger and more frequent, and put players in this spots more frequently, so that they will build bigger pots and thus rakes, and thats why u see more bad beats and suckouts on PS then on any other poker room out there, and the biggest player field of all poker rooms they have, just adds to the number of bad beats and suckouts. And thats the main reason why i faking hate PS, the poker room that used to be my favorite 10 year ago, but thats all changed now, and im pretty sure others will come to the same conclusion and same resentment to PS as i have, over the next couple of years. And in the mid time, FT stayed the same, software wise, there was no change in the code for the random card generator they use, and thats why u see some what more fair variance then PS where its faking rigger to generate rake, coz if u rigged the code on the generator on a poker room with small field of players the change would be very aggressive and noticeable then on a huge field, where u can blame it on the huge number of players, and that way, get away with it. So go ahead, play that Joke of a room, i dont mind, its your money, your right to spend them any way u see fit, but dont go in bare asssss naked first, in to any situation, get informed, gather as much as info u can, b4 u think about doing anything, at least thats what i do and ull get there, by there i mean, ull find out just how faking rigged the place is, the only thing that works so far in PS favor, is time...which they are running short on.

Looks to me, that you still had a lot to tell I havent heard any news about PS, thats true. And about PS card generator - so far i have heard only opinions. If you have any researches, proven facts by statistics etc. , then i could believe you. More bad beats - it sounds like something, that is very personal. I personnally have less bad beats then 10 yrs ago. I hope its because ive got better player . Other option is, that im the donk, who benefits from PS babysitting policy. You can guess, which option i believe with more happiness.

Why do you join converation, only to say "Hi David Boozman" Opinion is what it is, an opinion. Only because its yours, doesnt make it right. Or wrong. Or anything else , but opinion. No facts, no statistics, sometimes even no point.
This rake increase will only detract from bringing in new players in every mission there is rake the new win up to 5K high card mission playing one table took me about two hours to complete and same small prize of a dollar and give stars $5 in rake the promotion department at stars is makin a killin for Amaya
