too much ? no, rather to little. you only doubled limpers blinds.

its a freeroll, pinotte. even if you went all-in, they both may have called your all-in. the variance got you Shock

... Big Smile< Hey,....there's Her Majesty's Secret Service Agent, Mikey11. Secret because nobody knew where you were...! Big Smile

... Big Smile< When I get ready to late reg at the last moment,...I usually look through the entry list starting at the end to see if there are any dead mobbit corpses...!

... Big Smile< Monsieur Pinotte seems to have many lives like a cat,....I keep seeing him dead VERY early in the game,...but the VERY NEXT Day,....the Cat Came Back...! Hang in there pinotte...!

... Big Smile< It seems the first 1/2 hr or so is turning out to be a real donkfest for the reason that by the time I register ONLY 45 minutes into the game,....approximately 60% of entrants are already gone...!

... Big Smile< Today I got stuck at a table full of Aggro-Donks,...and 2 players in particur playing a battle of ego and witts with each other CONSTANTLY raising hugely and shoving with mediocre cards...!

... Big Smile< I decided to take one monster stack donk on with my Ks Js when the flop came with 2 more spades, and I shoved gambling on the K high flush,....Ace high if it came on the turn or river.......,...but I wound up in the pet cemetary myself...! Big Smile

... Big Smile< Still though,....a very good series......! Thumbs Up

4 big blinds is fine in that spot... you got your money in good. You should be happy regardless of the outcome.

im confused.

blinds are 50/100. one limper in front of him mean > he limp to 200 = 2 big blinds in the pot.
he raises to 400. thats like limping the limper, no? Big Smile

A limp is a flat call, so just 100. When you double the blind it's usually referred to as a min-raise.

No matter what, in this hand, even if you were all in preflop they would have both called.
At least the one with JJ.
I dont think you played the hand bad, it is the river that got you again.
next time you will win like this Smile

Yeah but i bet i can guess after both u and the guy with the jacks called what happened, the flop came, u saw the ace and froze, decided to check to him, he checked back, turn same thing, and after the river he went all in u put him on Jack something hand thinking u are good here with KK, u called and thats all folks Big Smile
No where after the flop or the turn u bet to check if he had the ace, if u bet both times i think u could have make him fold the jacks, but then again mb not, its a freeroll after all Big Smile
But i did have a similar hand on PS except i had the JJ and the other guy the KK`s, he raise i called, flop came A36, he checked, now i have to know if he has the A, i had to know were my JJ`s good here, so right after his check i bet half the pot, check what happened next, the guy showed me his KK`s and fold them Big Smile right after that i showed him my JJ`s, he couldnt say anything coz he knows he played the KK`s badly, i told him "i had to find out if u had the ace" but he understood my raise as "i have the ace, and im trying to build a pot here" so GG he promised he`ll get me some other hand, but he never did Big Smile

It was well mentioned that we were all-in preflop but when you post for 10 points you don't look at the post and make a long story to get the points. Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

So! The question I guess should be, "is anyone wrong in what they did in this hand?" We could sit up all night arguing that the player with 77 should have folded and looked forward to the next hand, and also an argument that JJ may be entitled to be considered to fold , however, decided to give his JJ a run for his money and made it in the end. The wonders of probability and people's lack of understanding of it. You were just unlucky PINOTTE that you got rivered.

I did not say that anyone in this hand was wrong it is just a matter of poker the three on the hand had a chance of improving this time it was the J. Smile Smile

Sorry pinotte but nowhere in your post u said I WAS ALLIN ALSO, u said i raised 400, the BB pushed allin, the limper and u just CALLED, i assumed u were not allin, but ok mb i got the story wrong Big Smile
And for 10 points, 2 lines are enough, the post i wrote is more then enough, but i guess u think is all about them points Big Smile

Again you didn't mention how many your stack, pinotte. It's important I think. is possible make tactical bet or not ( like SBEP said ). Go all in preflop just push JJ to call, right ? I mean this is for your first bet (raise or shove ). result is unlucky for you. next time you will have luck Smile
