To be honest nobody could do this kind of operation by himself, let alone without some helpful hands from the local triad members and many corrupt authorities so I guess this poor fella is just the 'fall guy' in this - he is taking the dive for someone else(s) instead.

a gambling site worth 62 billion dollars? really? amaya paid for pokerstars/riverstars/jokerstars "only" 5 billions and that is a mind blowing figure... and we are talking about a leading poker site... now some unknown dude somehow operates illegal gambling site worth 62 billions and no one notices it for years? really? i have a feeling that there are way too many zeros in the valuation

What a clever man, running all of this on his own. I suppose he was running it from the spare room of a rented house somewhere that was shared with 300 other people who he didn't know and had Nora who they were and incidentally who have not since been located by the authorities.

I am with Bowie on this one....no way can one guy operate this kind of operation,some countries don't have that kind of money floating around.....or maybe it is just a few Chinese billionaires having a home game with their petty cash!

If that would be the case they would do it in Macau IMO, and not online. I think asians like gambling but they probably don't really like the soulless and less adrenaline rushy aspects of doing it online.
