Just finished the 2nd round of a satellite into 21 $ and used only 1 cent to grab this cash.
The first round was a rebuy/add-on tournament with not a huge amount f prizes. Top 4 get a 5.50$ ticket into a 22$ satellite. I ended up not having the 50c rebuy or add-on fee so I did this all on 1 penny!
2nd round offered only 3 prizes, top 2 getting WPT passports and 3rd getting 21usd cash. i was the big stack in the 2nd round until the final three were formed. I decided I needed the cash more than the next level ticket an went all in every hand with junk and went out 3rd for 21$.
I think it was the right move on my part as I was down to my last 5 cents in BR. Much needed boost and hopefully the start of a beautiful run.
I highly recommend to my fellow Mobsters to give these a try as for a penny you can get some decent coin in return if you can last the 2 rounds.

Thanks guys, SBEP - It came to me pretty late in the tourney that why take the chance on another ticket when I know there's guaranteed money available at 3rd. I was up almost 70 K on 2nd place and almost 200k on 3rd. and with in 4 5 hands it was gone on a 3-way all in (and no not the good kind of three way all in and i got knocked out in 3rd. I' would've easily gotten the 3d rd ticket but I was done playing as my lady was starting to bother me.

lol ima gona have to watch on you if i back to Stars once more or twice. You win a lot of low buyins and freerolls and it would be not cool that i dont see your name in first place finish at one of the big tournys.

And as you can see in my image attached there were only 13 players shockingly in the 2nd round. Was only 1 hr 15 minutes to finish this whole thing. Again highly recommended to all low level players to invest in these as the comp really isn't all that great and the number of players is very advantageous for long runs.

Congratulation!very nice win from 1 penny I agree with your decision, take exact prize if you could develop,that's mean you win as same as you get the ticket. A lot story of your win Irish, would you try higher level ? .Stay good luck
It's definetly always nice to do a 2000% profit, lol! I like the idea of partypoker for these 1 cent satellites/qualifiers. I used to play some and managed to win some ticket, maybe I should get back to them ^^

Nice one The Irish. I think your decision in the second round was a sensible one given your bank roll status , which now thankfully looks far healthier.
Enough of the round 2 stuff though...... Would you share your views on the round 1 game, where you buy in for 0.01c and top 4 (there are games where only top 1) gets a $5.50 ticket (with an option to rebuy for 0.50c if you busto) . In my experience, having won only a couple of these, there are usually 100+ entrants and it's a bit of an all in fest! What are your thoughts on this format and game and how many have you entered to get how many 5.50 tickets.
Personally I think it's a great format and enjoy the fun feel to them with the opportunity of making some serious cash.

Hey Damosk thanks for question.
I looked up the stats on pokerprolabs and it says I've played about 20 of these 1 cent tourneys and yes the field of players is usually around 100 give or take a few and yes they can be a bit of a donk fest as the blind structures lend itself to be a very fast moving hectic type of run. but if you can get a few chips early on which not very hard with some of the comp your playing against makes it quite easy.
I actually love these as they're not overly long. The only issue I had with it was that 2nd round starts immediately after the 1st so if your short on time it's a bit of a surprise. Other than that totally recommend for my fellwo brothers and sisters of BRM!
