among us donkeys were a couple players on BRM who started with a no deposit and turned out to be real good players. some earned more money by playing poker as in their real jobs, and at least one or two of them decided to play poker for a living (one is doomdy if i recall).
a few years have passed now and im curious what happen to them?
lost all their money and now playing guitar on the streets for few bucks?
or their dream came true and they still kicking ass ?

well define poker pro, because evryone have diferent opinion... somebody thinks that poker pro must have some major tournament behind him, some thinks that you are poker pro when you are making money for living by only playing poker, some think that you must have at least 6 figure score to be pro... Now I will tell you true... there is 3, maybe 4 or more mobsters that are earning couple of grands per month... there is no mobster that is wining 10K$ per month... and those 3, and 4 stopped comming here, or come here from time to time just to say hi...

sorry I read thread long time ago befor posting reply... like I said there is maybe 3 ex mobsters that were earning for living from poker... now I dont know what is with them, and if they are still earning $
I have since the beginning of the game, and that was in 2009, very much wanted to learn to play well to make it to the necessities of life but ........................ ............................................. I play around zero .... plus or minus 200 bucks ..... although I certainly do not play a lot

I used to know only one guy, a brm member, that i can say his a pro, living from poker, and paying for his expenses entirely from poker earnings, that jovicakralj, but as to what happened to him, i haven't got a clue, mb he got so big in the poker world and made sooooooooo much money, that he doesn't hang around on this kind of forums anymore, mb he got kidnapped in morocco while on vacation, or mb he got married, and his wife spend it all who knows

Who knows. Unless they come back here and post we will never know But if they are doing the "pro" life, probably they have forgotten of this place, focusing on what really matters for them. Playing poker for a living consumes time, so they must be wasting their free time elsewhere

I know player who playing poker for living, even was on tirnir organized by poker stars , he was from Macedonia that I heard at the tournament got 40 000 dollars, every time I see him on the phone and playing poker , he play 24 hours a day

There are a different Kind od poker pros, online player and real money player. Sometimes i think, some players with a big tourney cash can quit their poker career to be a lifetime winning player But for the most guys was poker a nice hoppy with some cash winnings...

Jovi is still playing away... grinding the $7-$15 sit and go's on stars... doing not at all badly for himself.
Bemyatmplz was technically a pro too... in that his sole source of income was from poker. He was doing well for himself too, but got himself into trouble regarding staking.... both are kind of friends, so I won't go into any more detail.
I consider myself a pro as well. The only money I get right now is from poker. I'm grinding away at the micros on 888 and making a couple of hundred bucks a week.... they're making it as hard as possible for me though, so thinking of "switching offices".
I can't think of anyone else who can even loosely be called a pro...

maybe you can add there jeffaboy... dont know how he is doing but he made some good $ and he said he would try to make living from poker... I was at one moment making from spins 750$ per month, but some of that I spend and with unproper BR menagment I menage to go down to 0... I am good at tournaments, but I never did grinding on tournaments... maybe that I should do in future if I want to make some $ from poker...
------------ also pokerking took some nice $ from tournaments, but he doesnt live from poker income... thats just bonus for him...

ohh, guess you didnt play that many months? Cus otherwise your the best 7dollar player ever to win avg. 1dollar per/game on 7s or you were on some siiiicckkk heater

well I played almoust evryday, and I usualy end up around 50$ per day sometimes more, sometimes less, but than comes day when I go down like 200$ maybe more, and that goes in circle... one time I went 750$ down in same day...

Yeah im not saying that you havent made like in 750$ each month for 2-3 months. But if you have played only 740 games=2kvpp in a month, and made 750dollars, its impossible to make it if your not having a reaaally good run or winning the bigger multipliers
