I thought it wouldn't be long before Jason Mercier won his fifth bracelet but i didn't think it would be this quick!! This guy is a phenomenal player and it would be no surprise if he wins another one very soon

Wow what a start to his WSOP year and so early that he should cash a few more times.
I've read a lot on Mercier and a lot of people just don't give him the credit he deserves. I hear the term "UCKBOX" often and if luck is why he is winnign then I'd ratehr be lucky then good. But I'm guessing he's amazing which creates his luck.

CLEARLY and I mean CLEARLY one of the greatest....if not the greatest feats in the history of the WSOP......and without even knowing him....as a poker player I can say he's one of the best people ever. Congrats brother! Enough of this "run good" crap.....you are the real deal. Haters are gonna hate but you have to love this guy.

I one played thos h.o.r.s.e game on pokerstars and it was fun, but very intense you have to be very careful of small details and when the game changes, sometimes you still play hand like razz when the game changednton stud and lose a lot of money in this stupid manner.

hahaha that must be annoying. I have never tried a real H.O.R.S.E. tournanement because I would have to practice each individual games first. But yeah I'm sure it's fun. Whenever we do home cash games here we always play dealer's choice with PLO, NLHE, 5 card draw and sometimes 5 cards PLO. Most of the time we end up playing mostly PLO because it's more fun.

Thank you for your response TheMachineQC, yes it is a very fun game, but on at pokerstars you can play games like horse and badugi and even 5 card draw you told about, in other ppker rooms thrrr are no such games or only 1 or 2 players at the tables.

That game is more for a fun, at least for me. It keeps you more active than the rest with the constant changes in the game. But it is not one i would choose to play with real money. Too many games to be good and lucky at

yes just as mober pointed this out- all of those exotic poker forms, especially the combines games makes you more active and interested in the game, everything keeps changing all the time and if the hand drags on you can see the game changing almost every hand... i kinda like those games.

Yes mober and pochui h.o.r.s.e is very fun to play and it is really important to know the rules of all games to play good and have good results, I think it is nice idea to play with play money at first and only when you know everything then try to play with real money
