Tonight is the night where England will play their 4th match at the Euro 2016 against a opponent nobody had expected to reach this far. Iceland has done well, but they wille come short tonight. How the heck has it been possible for a nation of 330.000 people to qualify for Euro 2016 and then to through to the KO-faces. Now there are here, but this will be the end for the Fan favorites. It was just a betting pick, and actually a quite reasonable one. But it looked like one side was far more interested in winning the game, then the other one. A very lackluster performance of the favorite in the second half.

Well done to Iceland on their win and it was thoroughly deserved. England were absolutely awful and were beaten by a better team. Good luck to Iceland in the competition

I was sure 1000% that England will win Iceland .. so sure that bet on 4-0 ... and it all started very well for England and for me !! at the very beginning there was a penalty and the score 1-0 in favor of England !! and then the nightmare began for England and for me ............. almost immediately a goal back and soon another one ..... I think the failure of England to blame 2 person tregner and Rooney .. . More well I ugadol second result 2-0 to claim the benefit of Italy ... here I was sure to win 1,000,000% in Italy)))))

That can happen, who knows that the Team of Iceland played the game of her life. But it was a good match and i thin the English team are too nervous at the end of the game. But it was not a drama, thats Sport!

I was as stunned by England's exit as anyone and am still having trouble digesting their defeat to Iceland. Those who were rooting for England were probably getting frustrated in the recent games they played in the Euro 2016. I would expect them to come back in better shape next year.

Island had wonderful game, they played hard. England wasn't been in element on this Euro, they haven't squad like before.
But Island made big surprise at this Euro, and I am so lucky for them, because I like when outsider make great result like Greecee what was did 2004 in Portugal. Big Smile

Well! The bookies were primed for a huge loss last night on the basis that England were dead cents to beat Iceland...... As it is, the bookies walked away as much winners as Iceland did. Two things learned about last nights game. Never back England...... And never back England. Oh yes... The other thing to remember is that Roy hodgsons resignation is a little disingenuous in the fact that his contract only covered to the end of the euro 2016 tournament anyway! He won't ever need to manage again..... He's got plenty of money now to retire to Iceland and discover what passion looks like and means.

Btw Wth all due Respect wayne rooney ,... should retire from playing ec and wc ....
Here in netherlands they made a analyse about the game Engeland-Iceland
And they talk about that engeland wasnt bad at the begin,...
But they play with 10 instead of 11
You see a clip,....What wayne rooney did in the game,...you will be shocked,..
And agree he should retire...
Watch here http://www.npo.nl/nos-studio-france/27-06-2016/POW_03137252 (mods not sure iff its allowed ,..its a dutch football program,.... iff its not ok sry and you can erase it)
Wait for commercial and then skip to 2.35 min
Its been a great player and we all know that.
But sometimes you have to trow the towel in the ring...
And other english players can get a change.

Dont wanna Bash England,....
We not even there ,...because we sucked in qualifier Blink
