I want to make a challenge to push myself to make those 2,5k games this month. I have been playing spins for over 3 months with okayish cEv on all the stakes ive been playing, started on 3s and at the moment im grinding the 30s. Ive never made more then 2,1k games/month (when I was playing 3s/7s were the game is over after few hands) so hopefully this thread will help!
So my goals are: 2,5k games and get moved up to 60s, im in a Staking/Coaching deal so coach decides when im ready

It looks like you are doing good. If you have a deal and a coach is even better. Some times is less stressful, when you are not playing with your own money Good luck with your goals and follow the instructions given to you

So far little bit behind pace, had a busy weekend.. Made some games today and sunday but friday and saturday couldnt really make much.. But this month is going pretty good, hitting more often bigger multis as well. I think im soon ready for 60s!

Keeping a good pace is very important. better have a small steady course upwards, than one with big ups and downs. And dont squeeze more games in if you cant manage them Still at the beginning of the month. Plenty of time to go.

Yeah, I know im just a bit busy at the end of the month and on weekends so trying to put some volume so I will make those 2,5k Today made 120games and still running like god with 84 cEv. Almost 20buyins more then should be.. Tomorrow I got a coaching session, will see if I will start to play 60s or not, but feels like might be good for motivation as well! Will ofc maybe affect my amount of games, when there is higher ups and downs $wise, but most important is to keep the good cEv! Results will come sooner or later! So far 386 games this month with 78 cEv (which is ofc impossible to maintain) Getting back on track!

well had my worst day ever cEv wise (-65) and $ as well.. VARIANCE.... Anyway had a good coaching session, and I will start to play 60s! 451 games so far, little bit behind pace.. Hopefully tomorrow I get a good session on 60s to be able to make more games than today!

Like you said variance. You are staked, so if the worst thing happens, which is very difficult, you wont have to worry about any losses When you are getting coached do you do this by playing real games, or is it a 1 to 1 basis game, where you get the do's and dont's.
My flaw is that when I set myself a target, I am too obsessed with it and loose focus and play with stupid hands or making stupid bets or other mistakes.
So my advice to anyone is, just try to make profit and don't focus on how much...
But since you are professional, I think you won't get these donkey habits I have when pursuing a target instead of stopping with profit.

We are checking stats and some marked hands that I got and go some tournaments where I lost a lot of EV to see if it was some misplay or just variance. And of course go threw some new ideas/approaches and stuff to put into my game. Really awesome stuff, I was before multitabling 7s and 15s sng's and never really actually believed that I would make higher than that..
But here I am playing 60s the first day with 100 tournaments, got cEv of 36.. Which of course is not awesome, but a lot more regs than in 30s so takes a bit time to get used to it..
I always had hard time in the start to adjust when I was moving up stakes, 15s felt like I couldnt beat the game and on 30s same thing.. But coaches were giving a lot of confidence when I didnt have any! Hopefully I wont have that feeling on 60s.. Felt that the regs were more solid.. But atleast made my biggest cash out for 1 day so something good for the first day!

Well actually my main goal is not to make profits or maybe thats a bit wrong said (ofc everybody wants to make money) but you cant really think that much in $ when you are playing spins.. Even im doing that too much.. So that would be the wrong approach. Spins have sooo huge and different factor of variance that it should be only about quantity and quality, where the latter comes first. And my main goal is to play 100s in the next month so have to have a plan and achieve it and this is my way of making that happen
But you are right, if there would be some challenge in cash game to rake atleast 10k hands or something, I would be also widen my range a lot..

Confidence is something that you need when you are moving up. If you havent "mastered" this it is better staying at your current level or even drop a bit. Having a coach is a boost on its own A little pat on the back can motivate you, for your future games.

So here I am, the month almost over I got like 1k games on 60s and around 500 on 30s.. I missed too many days because of tennis and I got elected to play tennis as a stunt for a pretty big movie, and that took few days too much, but cant say im not happy tho . I started to make kinda different blog, coach was kinda asking if I could make so it would give some courage to lot of other players to join the stable.. 3months =3dollars spins to 60dollars spins and still counting! This is the page anyway if anyone is interested or want to think about joining our team ( spin4living.wordpress.com ), you have a link in the bottom to get an interview if you feel like this could be your thing I will still post here when the month is over how many games I made! But 2.5k can be difficult, im right now travelling to Estonia for some competition..

Month is over, volume was kinda bad.. Made little bit under 1,8k Had lot of things to do, and missed lot of days to play. Made a sick 24h grind day with my friend, with like 300 games.. That was funny s**t, but I will start to update from now on more @spin4living.wordpress.com so if you guys feel like following how my spins are going, dont hesitate to check that out and comments are always welcome But in overall, made my biggest $ month EVER!
