I find it very disturbing that a mistake in judgement could land you in jail like that. Is it suppose to compensate for all the ones that get away with it? That is very rough when you are the one getting caught being stupid.
How do you get to the point that tax evasion equates to taking 2 years of a life? That is incredibly disproportionate IMO...
Completly agree with you... Here in Canada 21 months of jail time would mean you would go to a federal penitentiary with killers, rapists and gangsters. If your sentence is more than 2 years and 1 day it means it's very serious. Besides, some weed dealers end up in there but when they come out they're not just weed dealers anymore...

oh well today messi was caught peeing on neighbors potatoes, so it looks like messi will be joining the highly prestigious Prison Premier League afterall. however neighbor accepts a 400 millions check as a compensation... darn messi is fifty millions short... maybe ronaldo can lend him?
