So Playing a freeroll right now and had the same situation happened within 5 or 6 hands of each other. Blew my mind the first time and then when it happened so close to the first one I almost threw up my lunch
take a look at these 2 beauties and get some amusement for the afternoon.

Twice in a short time that two players have the same pocket cards i am pretty sure that this is not happening very often and not to funny when it does.
However in the two hand you did not lose any chips it is a small consolation but still one.

The most important thing about poker is to recover quickly from hands that really do have the ability to get into your head and mess up your focus. I suppose when you look at the second hand you were pretty fortunate that the fifth heart didn't appear on the miracle river to really cool you down. Keep focussed and don't give up.
wow !!! it can make anyone become sad .... but still these cards when you carry the victory (albeit divided into two parts) would be much more painful if these cards would bring you defeat .... and it happens quite often .. .. and I have several times in recent days lost on these poker cards ... always nice to get a big pair))

Same things happen every times the systems in on your money.Lucky for you,it was a freeroll, and you did not loose all the pot, just half. This is online poker.I had lost real money a lot ,when I played monster hands(AA,KK) against far lower starting hands.Good luck at the virtual tables

To see this once is a very rare occurence but to see it twice, within such a short space of time as well, is almost unheard of. At least you ended up chopping the pots as a flush normally comes whenever it has happened to me

Two hands like that driving you crazy. At least the worst thing didnt happen. losing from a set from the other player in, or losing from a flush from the other 2 aces. This is the most annoying and irritating outcome in this situation. But dont give up for this

Or just take it as it is - variance. This is not really unheard of and the RNG could screw you million other ways so you definitely should not stop playing just because of this...

Goooood what i would not do to get a chop pot with aces on ps, do u know that 7 out of 11 times when i went allin with aces preflop i lost...do u know how frustrating that is, just when u think "ohohoho im gonna double up" u get cold shower, i faking hate aces on stars, u never win, so to chop a pot, i would take it and i would be the happiest man on earth

I dont have a good history with aces preflop either. But its a gamble at the end. And its a hand that i always go all in preflop. The weird thing is that the most times i win with it, its in some silly freerolls, with lousy payouts.

That is classic qwertolog. When you go all in with a pair and you get a caller with AK, most likely they will hit a pair. And most of the times they get the pair in the flop in my case. But no complains there, since i hit like that too

TheIrish... Just wondering if you have had more of the same old sh1te happening and whether you have decided to give up playing poker on the basis of that... If you do, just yo reassure you that the same old sh1te happens all the time and will carry on regardless of whether you give up or not..... So...... What's it going to be?
This type of hand is pretty rare. I know I'm pretty unlucky in these race and split situations, but maybe it's just mental. Never really kept track of stats to see if I win races 50% of the time or not. Would be nice to see these stats though!
Anyways, you're experienced enough to know that poker isn't about deserving to win... like I always say in poker you better off being bad and lucky than good and unlucky

I doubt he will come up against same pair again any time soon, let alone twice in a day But it is poker and you never know. This is not something though that can stop you from playing the game. Changing to another site yes, that can happen.
