That's right your boy TheIrish77 Took down our very own daily this afternoon on Party Poker and put myself into 3rd overall in the leaderboard with this performance.
Want to send a BIG SHOUT OUT to Yout85 as he managed to make it heads up against me but unfortunately was very short stacked in our battle and eventually succumbed to the pressure of the big stack.
Once we got to the final table it really was just a case of me getting big hands when other smaller stacks would feel the need to push with little to nothing. It really was quite simple and almost played itself at one point.
Again great to play heads up against our friend Mr. Yout85 and look forward to more successes in future leaderboard tourney.
Thanks BRM for having these run again on PP and giving us the chance to play against each other on a regular basis.
Congratz TheIrish77 you seem to always do well in these freerolls was running deep the other day with a good stack and my AQ suited got cracked by a QJ runner runner straight on the river No fold button today with 77 against bigger pairs and was out early. Always good to see the regs having great success

Many congratulations to you on yet another very good tournament. To get to the final table of any tournament is an achievement to be proud of but to go onto win is extra special. Well done again to all who cashed

Was a fun game... Irish was in 1st place for a long, long time, with me hovering around 5th or 6th through most of it. I took 1st just before the final table... but wasn't quite able to see it through after having to lay down a few big pocket pairs.
I rarely play these games... so I'm nowhere on the leaderboard. BUT might try and play a few more, now that I'm off the mark.
Congratulations theirish77, top 3 are the only paid places in this freeroll Congratulations to yout also for second place. How long did it take to finish it?
When I play it I usually play super aggro, double or triple up and then donate stack to someone by shoving random hands Just can't play seriously with that structure.
Posted by yout85: Was actually top 30 paid QC, and took around 3 hours 15 minutes to finish if I remember correctly.
I'm guessing you might be confusing it with the 5 point buy in one... because the structure in this one was quite nice.
I meant that the only interesting prizes are top 3-5. Finishing 9th for 99 cents must be pretty annoying after playing 3 hours. 2 hours to 2 hours and a half would be a better average duration IMO.
I prefer when the freerollleaderboards have turbo structures. Not hyper, not regular, just inbetween seems like the best structures for freerolls in my opinion. 5-8 min blinds, not 10... I find the structures to be way too slow in general at party, with the huge lat reg I just can't play a game if I don't have 4 hours in front of me atleast.
And let's not talk about the jab... 8 hours to get to FT and it's not even presented as a deep stack tourney

Ahhhh, gotcha. Yeah the prizes themselves are pretty crappy... but it's more about the leaderboard points than the money really.
I also have to say that I looooooooove a nice slow structure... and the longer late reg runs the better both of those things give advantages to the good players.

Congratulations to both of you and especially to irish. I dont think we have seen before such results where int the top two positions are brm members Not bad prize money and of course a good amount of points for the leader board. Well done.

Congratulations to The Irish for his first place and to Yout85 for a very gallant second place. It's awesome to see two BRM forum regulars hitting the top two spots in this promo game. Keep up the good work and I hope to join in with you any day soon to try and work my way into that leaderboard once again.
