Pocket Aces  0
This happen in last Sunday BRM freeroll On Party Poker. within one hour i got four pocket aces which is very unusual and her what happen with them.

First: I was on the button with my aces and had only one limer plus SB AND BB the limper and BB were agressive players so i raised 4 BB and they all fold.

Second: I was UTG again with aces so i though that i had raised to much the first time so i just min. raise and every body fold.

Third: I was BB again with aces i have two limpers plus SB in front so i decided to shoved and was called by one 3 3 the flop come A 4 5 but tur and river came 6 7 for a straight to the caller.

Fourth: I am in middle position and a little stack goes all in so i shoved no one else call and i won this hand.

Four pocket aces and ended with a loss of chips was lucky that i also had a K K with witch i won a big pot. Big Smile Big Smile

Its the cases where you would have been better without them.
The only time you had to win the hand you lost Smile
It is unusual of course to get them so many times.
I would have gone all in preflop every single one of them hoping Smile

My 'record' is that any time I would get them playing Spin 'n' Go everybody just folds on me.
Never in my life happened that when I had aces during any kinda Spin 'n' Go somebody would have just call - doesn't matter if I shoved or slow-played them - nobody ever called it. It's quite ridiculous.
True story.

This is an incredible run of events and you seemed to have got very unlucky. I never know how to play pocket aces, especially in early position, and i always seem to make the wrong decisions. Just shove every time and take away the thinking process!!

To be honest, shoving pre flop when there's no raises before is one of the worst play you could do with aces, the only benefit I see from this play is that 88 to KK could call if they think you're shoving AK or AQ and are scared to play post flop... But yeah I'd rather raise normally and hope that people 3bet.

I like to play these pairs exactly for what they are: a pair. If you get 2 or more callers, just play the hand cautiously. A pair is just a pair. It's usually pretty easy to see if villain caught something that can beat your overpair since he will most likely raise you at some point if you keep betting. Sure I lose pots like everybody else when my opponents get lucky, but I rarely get my money in bad with big pairs...

I agree that it is just a pair however it is not like any other pair it is the top one and your opponent one or two they have to get at least two pairs to beat you.

I would shoved A A any time and i am sure that on the long run i will be a winner with them. For sure you gone loose once in a while like with any other hand.

You can loose with a set or a flush anything is not a sure win.

I did tried it on the open league this month and did not loose one hand with them maybe i was lucky but it worked this time. Smile Smile

Ok AA was the best hand before the community cards some, but in the micros we see oftem moren than 1-2 opponents, so it was not so easy to win. Any Player build a runner runner Monster Hand and start with a crap Hand before.
