Stars rarely give money and i think it is worse since the marge with Full Tilt the last promo was a joke and when i saw this one and read the terms and conditions the only think that came to my mind is again same as the last one.
I not sure if we see a nice easy promo on Stars in the near future.

theres nothing wrong with this promotion, except that you never get even close to 10k, not even 1% of it but 1 or 2 . else.. free money is free money and 100 points easy to make.. no?

If you are a very good cash came player and $0.05/$0.10 is your range of play and getting a profit in trying the challenge and you are getting $1.00 more no problem it is really free money.
However there are many peoples that are no good at the game and will try it thinking that they will win back all their losses or more when the challenge is done.

you have to see it in a positive light. do not underestimate the happiness factor. just like the guy in the bar last day. he threw aproximatly 100-150 euro in the gambling machine. you should see his face as he finaly cracked the 12.50 euro jackpot. man... this guy was so happy
some have to learn it the hard way, others will never. honestly, i do not feel sorry. either your damn good or a passionated poker player who can afford it if you lose money. common sense is a basic ability. i think i can expect from a grown person not to gamble away his last cent.
unfortunately as mentioned you have to be very good at cash games which most of us here I believe is not but hey every promotions at Pokerstars are more than welcome as one day there will one which is gonna be suitable for you...

For game game player on NL10 level it was a nice promo. And i thin that stars give interesting promos for all Kind of Players like sng/tourney or cash game players. I only don´t like These allin shootout ticket tourneys.

Always there are some promos for all and some others that they arent. If there are promotions that you can win something out of it by playing your regular games and tournaments, then its a very good one If you have to chase, going in unfamiliar territories, you may end up losing at the end. So you just choose to pass, on the ones you find difficult.

It's another promo enticing you to part with your well earned money in the vain hope that you may win something. It's a typical promo that is good for you if you already play the games and limits required, but could become expensive otherwise. Good luck if you choose to take part. See y'all at the tables.

For the effort and money you put in to win 1$ it is not worth it. The latest deposit bonus was great as it has an instant reward. But since the Amaya group took over the promos have be less than great. I have read on things like poker tube about how people aren't to happy with poker stars false promise of better promos this year and the new star coins. Then I come back to this forum after a long time and see party poker taking over....is this a sign? I might have to try party poker again since I have never been able to play as it kept freezing after loading

No such a thing as free money - especially by Amaya. One or two dollar reward for a session while collecting the points which will more likely than not gonna resulting in that you rake more than you get as a reward. Dunno, how this is +EV for anybody besides regular cash players/zoom grinders?

i want to thank pokerstars (the old pokerstars) for being a place where i used to leave my hard earned money, whenever in needed to dump my excess cash i knew i can rely on stars to duly take it. however all this honeymoon had to end one day... the day when my sh1tty pc couldn't launch stars at all.
I completed this challenge in the past week five times and the biggest prize was 2 with the rest $1 playing two tables .05/.10 zoom 6 max flopped quads with pocket 44 and quads again with 44 turn 4 and river 4 for an instant win up only $5 overall.
100 in rake if you want to win a dollar but still have one in a million shot at top prize 10K yeah I will pass
