Back to back days I've managed very good runs in this tounrey. Even got myself into top 5 with around 90 to go but went card dead for a while and lost a good chunk of stack to blinds.
Lost with a flush vs a Full house on the river. Oh well cashed another 22.94 but made only arund 10$ profit with rebuys and add-on.
I'll take it as it's a cash but not the result i was hoping for.
Playing The Hot 0.55 cent atm and doing well early. top 100ish currently but only 40 minutes in so too early to be over excited. I'll be back with updates throughout the day.

------------ Just cashed the hot 2.20$ on Stars and have some chips to play with. Could be in the top 20 atm if my pocket 9's held until the river vs KQ and lost 50k.
Could be a decent finish if i get some cards and some luck along the way.
------------ Ended up cashing in 322/3877 fore 5.34$. made a few more bucks hope to carry this run tonight.

A couple of good runs there theirish .unlucky you didn't get higher in the $ 2,20 as there is some nice payouts in that,all in all not a bad night for you so far after all a profit is a profit. gl

Good little return on your investment buddy, x10 way to go, take regularly shots at that tournament i am more then sure in no time ull make the FT and maybe take down the whole thing, which i muss say, for 2.20 buy in the first 5 spots look very very good and i should also add i was a little surprised u didnt made the FT, im already used to reading a posts from u bud bout bragging u making the FT so the next post i hope ull shut my mouth with a screen shot from 1st place on this tourney

Reading what you wrote, got me wondering. Do you have a plan or strategy for those times when you go card dead? Or do you just sit and wait for something to come. So often I hear people talk about going card dead as though there is nothing you can do about it ! Any thoughts?

Congratulations, TheIrish77! As you mentioned in the original post, you would have gone deeper in the tournament and could have finished in a higher position if your pocket 9s had held against your opponent's KQ. I wish you better luck next time.

@ Damosk - No i definitely don't just sit there. I'll Try raising with rags but when the blinds get to that point especially in turbo or hyper-turbo action not much choice to play the cards you're dealt. But in a slower moving tourney i'll mix my game up much more playing junk a lot and making big hands. All depends on the structure.
